For 10 nights I stayed at Good Rade for a worktrip. The hotel was well located for my work, it is easily accessible by car/taxi. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel grew on me. The internet in the room worked very well, in the restaurant not so well. The staff are very friendly. I felt safe and the room was very quiet. I did have a nice basis to work from and explore the city during the weekend.

A vibrant city with calmer beaches and busy markets. The people are incredibly friendly. I would go again as I didn't have time to fully explore.
On the plateau, explore the historic memory island of Gorée, go to the HLM market, the textiles market in Sandaga, the food market of Kermel. If you have time, go to the beach in Ngor and swim to Ngor island. Eat some local grilled fish and fresh veges.
Just drink bottled water :)

Senegal has very friendly people with lots of places to see and visit. It's easy to move around either by hailing Taxis or using the Yango ride app.
I enjoyed my visits to the Marché Soumbédioune. Here, you can buy authentic African craft from the Artisanal Village. Nearby is the Soumbédioune sea food market where you can buy a variety of fresh and grilled sea food to delight your palate. I enjoyed a meal of grilled fish and fries here.
The Mosque of Divinity and African Renaissance Monument are also 2 nice places I saw.
Before leaving for Ghana, I stopped by the Sea Plaza shopping mall to buy gifts for my friends and family back at home.

Good for seasoned travelers who like to get with the people. Senegal is a fast-growing region with plenty of young people. Dirt roads are the main surface in Dakar but once out of town, you will find modern highways.

The place was wonderful. Clean. The pool was clean and everything else.
The bad
The big refrigerator was not working but the provided small one new. Some of the toilets has issue draining water. But with the host Babacar everything was possible. The guy was excellent, nice and very disponible. Always available when needed something. If it wasn’t him, I wouldn’t have stay there during my stay. Because of the address

I felt safe and there were many things to see. The people I encountered were beyond friendly and helpful. I took a taxi a few times and the drivers were fair. I walked around the city during the day and at night and felt comfortable. The beach was very nice and clean.
lovely property top away in the Ngor Almadies neighborhood. I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveler I felt really taken care of and looked after by Awa and the rest of the staff. It is a short drive to almost anything you want to see in Dakar. It was my first visit and I did a lot of sightseeing. You will have to make sure that rideshare drivers understand where it is located. Some of them got lost looking for it. Very clean. Hot water was great. Air conditioning was excellent. Very nicely appointed wonderful wonderful staff.
the property is beautiful, sitting on top of a small cliff. modern, clean and comfortable. great design. great location close to city center but also to a area called Almadies where you can find fine dining and Entertainement. Easy for daily runs right outside the hotel. great for business travellers and families alike. a small discreet shopping center accessible from the hotel. Special thanks to Mrs. Gueye (client relations), Mrs Sow (front desk), Cherif (porter). basically the entire staff is really pleasant and professional.
The staff led by Mr Dia was welcoming and very professional. The apartment was spotless with hot water, very comfortable beds, a modern kitchen and all the amenities of modern day accommodation. In the downtown of dakar. I will give 5 for the location.......in local area which I like.... So the area is always accessible and a live till midnight but not noisy ... Felt safe.... Everything you need around you..... I reached very early by ferry and they allowed me to chk in which was very nice of them.....this will not happen in your 5 star hotel.... The staff was helpful and do their job in very good way
Since theoment I walked in I was over welmed by the very nice welcome from the staff. They were very quick in checking us in and the room was very clean. And the staff are very intelligent and profesional, always smiling ,they answer all my questions and I felt that all my needs were covered right away.
I have been to many 5 star hotels in west Africa. This hotel was the best especially the staff and service.
This is an excellent choice if you wish to stay close to VDN. My room was spotless with a nice decoration, the shower ran better than in other hotels I stayed while in Dakar. The lady at the reception went out of her way to address my questions. I opted for a dinner at the rooftop terrace during the sunset and the yassa chicken tasted great. Very good value for money, would stay here again in the future.
VERY COMFORTABLE DOUBLE Bed & Pilows, cold aircon, spacious rooms with lounge & fridge, English/French speaking receptionist with many good reccomendations for what to see and do in Dakar, good restaraunts around the hotel and the beach 15min walk, microwave and kitchen that you can use to reheat food, The owner has many local connections also, so that helped us to book tours etc. Would def stay again.
Everything was great, Aïssata, the manager was alwasy available to answer my questions. The studio and the 1 bed-room appartment I stayed in are well spacious and very clean. The neighborhood offers an authentic view of the Senegalese lifestyle exactly what I was looking for. Breakfast was quite good and they can also provide lunch and dinner.

very nice and comfortable place. would recommend to all travelers on a short stay in Dakar. Jado and his family (who live in the apartment as well) are very courteous and accomodating. There is no issue or problem faced due to sharing the place with them. They keep the place clean and noise free. The area is also quiet. would stay there again in the future.
The room was high quality. I think this is an european standard hotel. Top 5 quality/price I've stayed in my life. Highly recommended for business trips. It's not worth paying so much more for other more renamed hotel brands in Dakar. Transportation waited for me a lot of time with no extra charge or anything. I really loved my stay
Awesome location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It is near the center of Dakar and commute isn’t very expensive. The owner was very kind in offering guidance about events and lit locations we could visit. He always answered our calls and questions. We will definitely rebook this property if we visit Dakar again.

By far the best Hotel in Dakar. I´ve been one week before in Radisson and this one is best, because the exterior areas are much better, The pool is much bigger and it has a nice private beach, all of it very close from each other. The natural juiices at breackfast are excelent!
