Kind and welcoming hosts, with an amazing art collection. The rooms were big, clean, quiet, with a modern bathroom and great shower. Breakfast was fresh and generous with different options every day (also a lot of fruit and vegetables, which was very nice). Great area with lots of options for hiking and swimming, and lovely affordable restaurant across the street. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area!

Everything is very clean, nice guests. Kitchen is clean and filled with appliances, big and comftorable to use. There is a large 'living room' area with tables for meals, sofa and even a TV (No one used it).

It is not surprising that the house has excellent ratings, it really deserves it. Easy check-in and check-out, excellent communication with the owner, wonderful location with a beautiful terrace. The house is well equipped, and we especially liked the large terrace. A wonderful place for rest and enjoyment :)

A beautiful quaint town on the Soca Vaey. Loads of swimming spots along the river, and a place to rent kayaks, sups etc at the dam. I recommend travveling along the river, up to Gabrje and further for more beautiful river locations.
We stayed just outside of town, which I recommend if you have your own transport.
I didn't do anything in the town itself as its great just to relax along the river on a sunny day, or go kayaking on the river.

The Gorge is very beautiful and there are many hiking and walking trail around. The museum of Tolmin is really interesting. I'd recommend going there with nice weather, there is little to be done when it is raining.

Tomlinson was a great stop on our hiking adventure. The gorge and castle ruins were good to see and with it being a bigger town then we had been in on our travels we were able to restock our hiking supplies.

Great base for getting out to other hiking areas waterfalls and canyons. The Town centre is dated and quite dirty. Only a few restaurants all with the same items on the menu, but all good quality and very low prices.

Tolmin is heaven on earth.
Tolmin is heaven on earth. Especially in the festival season in the town. The rivers Tolminka and Soca meet, and it's the perfect cooling down in the hot hot heat (it was 32 degrees Celsius). The surrounding area is Slovene Alps at its best with countless activities from biking, paragliding, mountain climbing and canyoning. It has one of the best festivals in Slovenia every summer, and it's a must visit.
The accommodation's location is great, offering a wonderful view of the town of Tolmin. The apartment itself is cozy, modern, and very clean, equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The hosts, Iosko and Valentina, are very nice people who helped us with everything we needed and gave us good recommendations for nearby attractions. We definitely recommend this place and won't hesitate to come back if we visit Tolmin again in the future.
Beautiful location and view from the house! The owners were super helpfull and nice, even gave us a ride to the center on the day we left. The house was very well maintained, clean and we have nothing but positive to say!
If you are visiting Tolmin area I highly recommend staying here for your visit! Definitely will stay here again when in Tolmin!
Excellent apartment with a great style - we loved the beautiful wooden floor, the design of the furniture, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The hosts are a very lovely couple - very nice and always helpful! You can enjoy the beautiful nature around Tolmin by taking walks or by sitting on the balcony with its nice view on the mountains.
Host Nina was super friendly and made us feel very welcome- she even bought us lemon cake she had baked! Room was very clean and modern with comfy beds and nice bathroom. Shared kitchen had everything you needed. Location was quiet but near to Tolmin- we had a hire car I think you would struggle without one.
The dorms and the shared facilities are very clean. All beds include a large storage box with a lock for your stuff. It is close to the Tolmin bus station and has a supermarket across the street.
