Very nice and friendly host.
Nice location, yard and recreational facilities around. The property had bicycles available, which my family and I were happy to use.
We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer.
Kranj is perfectly positioned city. It is very close to highway, it is close to mountains (25min from ski resort) and is only 2h drive from the sea.
It has beautiful old town.
The capital, Ljubljana is only 30min drive.

Beautiful town, especially historical part of the city. It's interesting how historical town is surrounded by two rivers, and it makes a green oasis in the middle of the town. Food is amazing, special recommendation for Gostilna Kot for local food and Das ist Walter for bosnian cuisine.
The location of the city is perfect for exploring Slovenia.

I have visited Slovenija many times, but for some reason I missed Kranj. What a lovely little old city, that houses many artists, poets, painter, writers, etc. I hope to return post-Covid when I can experience their musical performances, art exhibits etc. Kranj is a unknown little gem. One or two days should be spent there.

Kranj is a charming little town, with an old city centre and a natural gorge in the middle of the town.
You can explore it with a walk, there are plenty of different restaurants and bars in the pedestrian zone.
At the end there is a lookout but only for brave people without fear of deepness, it is really scaring because of glass borders.

One of those Central European towns that fell on hard times...
One of those Central European towns that fell on hard times after the fall of communism/socialism, but is now picking itself up. The old town has many interesting buildings and an unusual geographic layout on top of a hill.
We spent there only one night as it was a stop on our way, but the experience was great. It's a beautifully located guesthouse run by very nice people. It's a standard of a decent hotel (there is even a mini-bar in the room). Clean room, comfortable mattress, very tasty breakfast. And the water pressure in the shower was Niagara level. We even joked that it's clear now why all other showers in Slovenia seem to have poor water pressure - it is because this one is using it all.
The house is amazing, the best part is the terrace with an amazing view, BBQ, and hot tub. A tranquil oasis, the house is all new appliances, spacious and clean. We were all amazed and excited to have picked such a great house. I would recommend a stay here. It is a short ride from the center and also a great location to explore Slovenia. Not to forget the host is very accommodating and quick to respond. Overall 10/10!
Super location in the old center of Kranj, perched over a steep, lushly forested ravine. We enjoyed the views from the room's large windows, and the sound of the river. It was quiet - no street noise and very little noise in the building. The room was a decent size, not too cramped for two people. The staff was friendly and helpful, and arranged our taxi to the airport the following morning.
We really enjoyed our stay here at this apartment. The accommodation was spacious, clean and well-equipped.
The parking space was generous. The highway was very accessible, which helped us to reach easily our destinations.
The fact that the apartment is pet friendly was a big plus for us.
We will come back here for sure when if we will come to Slovenia in the future.
Kranj is a rather small place, and the hotel is located in the center of the old town. It's a proper old-school hotel, well maintained, and recently renovated, but keeping the standards of old-school hospitality. Proper check-in and check-out hours, spotless rooms, nice breakfast, convenient parking (a rarity in Slovenia), amazing view, and super-kind personnel.
The hosts are very friendly and always eager to help us and make us feel welcomed in their property. The breakfast was very nice and unique. I would really recommend staying here especially if you want to visit many sides in Slovenia because it is in the middle and you can have access everywhere
The Hotel Actum is beautifully decorated and is kept at the highest standards. The location in Kranj is perfect as it is in the center of the town square in the pedestrian zone. The management family is very attentive to any need we might have and keep the place spotless! We will be back again!

I recommend staying here longer than I did (just one night as I was flying back), cause it's really nice town and good stay point for many attractions in Slovenia.
Very clean, modern, spacious rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location in the heart of the old city of Kranj is very convenient and quiet. This is a great place to stay away from the crowds of Bled and Lublijana but still just a short drive away.
Amazing hosts, gorgeous stay .We had to go to the airport early morning and since it was a last minute request they gladly dropped us their themselves.Wonderful people. We met a lot of wonderful people there in Slovenia.

Great location in central Kranj with easy access to the old town, and a short walk from the bus station. Room was lovely and bathroom spacious with a shower and bath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. 100% recommend!
The host family were so lovely to interact with. She gave great insights on Slovenia and plenty of recommendations on what we can see and do. We were both very happy with our stay there and look forward to coming back.
We were very grateful for information from the Hotel as we were arriving by bus. Dinner was excellent, fairly priced and the wines were good too as was the buffet breakfast. Our room was very large and spacious.
It was a stopover on a longer trip and for this purpose the location was perfect. Closw to the motorway and close to shops with a very nice view onto the slovenian mountains to boot.
