The location is amazing, our host was very polite and we also got some nice local food.
Most of the apartment was clean.

This place is really amazing - fantastic location (it's on the hill, so you can enjoy a beautiful view from the terrace), strong internet signal (I could use this even outside), warm floor and a small kitchen. The owner is a nice and really helpful lady who will make you feel comfortable and welcomed. In the nearest village Markovo there is a small store so you can buy all you need. In around 20-30 metres there is a forest, where you can walk.

Bathroom (shampoo and shower gel provided) and cooking utensils are clean. Dust on floor (perhaps it’s a basement unit with window towards car park) but I think it’s ok if you wear slippers indoors.

Well worth a visit if one is travelling about Slovenia.
Well worth a visit if one is travelling about Slovenia. It has a nice old style town and within easy car distance are some great walks in the higher mountains.
I suspect at busy times of the year and the school holidays in Europe Kamnik will be a busy place and booking early will pay dividends.

We came to Kamnik at the end of a two-week trip in Slovenia.
We came to Kamnik at the end of a two-week trip in Slovenia. We came mostly to see Velika Planina, which was worth it even if it was a cloudy, windy, and cold day up there. We stayed in Kamnik for two nights, leaving early in the morning to catch a flight on the last day. The Kamnik old town was very cool and fun to walk around for the old architecture. However, when we went (Fri-Sun in late September) almost no shops were open, which was frustrating because I could see cool handicrafts through the windows. The whole town honestly felt a bit deserted. In addition, there are very limited places to eat dinner in town.

The mountains are incredible, so different!
The mountains are incredible, so different! There's a nice historic town centre and all the villages around there are pretty and neat. You can take a cable car up the mountain which is definitely worth doing. It's so easy to get travel to anywhere you want from Kamnik so we were very happy we chose it as our base.

Great little town with a lot of mountains in surrounding.
Great little town with a lot of mountains in surrounding. Beautiful views from the old city above the town. Soon there will be a panoramic bridge on the old town.
Be sure to check arab restauranf (Tsinim), for some eastern specialties!
A great opportunity to spend a couple of nights in this former Monastery. - such a peaceful location - I had the best night's sleep ever.
Around 15 minutes walk from the centre of Kamnik, which is a charming little.town about an hour from Ljubljana.
Helpful staff (I even got a pickup from the bus station, since I was running slightly late).
Fabulous Balkan restaurant near bus station. - the best salads ever, that I felt they were definitely worthy of a mention!
Bathrooms and toilets are cleaned every day. Location is really good; even by foot its doable to reach the location while it is still in a beautiful place and remote from the city. Taxi prices from Kamnik are around 8 euros (from Lidl Kamnik). Breakfast served by the glamping is good, and there is a coffeemachine where you can get more coffee for a good price. The sauna at the glamping is also very much recommended to fully relax.
Vesna, the owner of the property is a very kind woman, she greets you with a lovely smile and ensures that you feel home at her place. I stayed one night and then I prolonged my stay for one more night because it felt too homely to stay in Kamnik and in this hotel. Thanks to Vesna for her great hospitality.
It is within the nature, surrounded by forest, very silent, only the sound of the birds and the nearby farm animals. And it is near Kamnik where you can explore the main sightseeing points of the region.
Really nice host. Everything was clean and had a jacuzzi. Close to kamnik and a good point to stay when you want to explore logar valley and velika planina.
