The location was perfect to go walking in any direction around the lake.
The room was comfortable, clean and the interior design is great.
We also did the wine tasting in the hotel and we highly recommend it. Slovenian wine is great.
We even had a pillow menu! To choose our preference - brilliant idea in my opinion as pillows are always my biggest gripe in a hotel.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife. The lake was beautiful with places to swim. It felt very secluded and unspoilt. There were not many tourists and although the nearby campsite was full, there was not so many people around.
Although it was nice to swim in the lake, the mountain river feeding the lake meant the water was very cold, even in late June.
The restaurant variety was not so good and the food was quite expensive and not great quality.
It is not so easy to get around the lake, being a long way to walk and the parking expensive.

Bohinj has stunning views of the surrounding mountains which are easily accessible via the gondola. The lake itself is crystal clear and great for swimming and water sports. The town is small but with a range of restaurants and a shop. It has all the facilities you need but without the throng of tourists that Lake Bled is constantly surrounded by.

Lake Bled is lovely but Lake Bohinj is perfect if you want a purer experience. The hike around the lake is about 12.5 km. There are lots of outdoor sports available and gorgeous views. We went up the cable car to Mount Vogel and hiked up to the waterfall at Savica. It is all truly gorgeous and peaceful.

You should take a trip to the waterfall Savica; take a 2 hour walk around the lake; the landscape itself is wonderful. You can taste delicious homemade food like different kinds of cottage cheese, and typical Slovene casserole dishes.
The best way to get around lake is to go on foot or to rent a bike.

The nature is beautiful, it doesn't mind if it's raining, snowy or sunny, you always can enjoy peaceful walk along the lake or through the forest. Everyone should visit Bohinj at least once in their lifetime!
The most amazing and welcoming host we have ever seen! The apartment was cozy, warm, and well equipped but the huge terrace with sunbeds and barbecue was a delight.
The owner has a workshop in the house and invited us to create a leather bracelets we can take as souvenirs. It was beautiful! Three girls loved the experience because even though they worked with real tools it was safe and fun! And they got unique gift.
This stay was the best we had in Slovenia and would definitely recommend to anyone!
Very great accomodation considering the low price. It surprised me how spacious it is + the added balcony with a great view. Overall just a great location considering the scenery. Lake Bohinj is a short drive away (10 min). The owners had a friendly dog who my dog loved interacting with, the owners were very friendly and non intrusive. Definitely recommended for travelers with pets - keep the pet tax in mind though (10e per night) and the tourist tax (2e per person).
The property is absolutely amazing. The room was very clean and cozy. The views from the room (1) are breathtaking. The customer service and breakfast was excellent. If you are looking for a holiday where you can truly relax and have the best time of your life Slovenia, Ukanc then this is the best place to stay. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Definitely going to recommend it and looking forward to coming backing. The dogs are also very cute and friendly 😃
The best hostess ever! Marinka is a very nice, accommodating, helpful and impressive person, who offered us excellent brandy on two occasions. The apartment was equipped with everything necessary, and the heating and WiFi worked great. The apartment was easy to find and there were parking spots just in front of the house. There is a shop and several restaurants near the apartment. Located 15 minutes by car from the Vogel ski resort. No flaws, would recommend!
The best breakfast we had in awhile at a hotel, what an amazing spread! Freshly baked goods, super delicious, great variety, amazing Slovenian dishes, healthy and the lady at breakfast was super friendly and helpful. The beds are comfy and the hotel is in a good location for skiing, hiking and outdoor activities. Such a beautiful location. Vogel Skiing is 6 mins by car from the hotel. The lady that checked us out was very nice and friendly.
This was a fabulous location for all of the activities that we wanted to engage in: walking, swimming, relaxing, seeing Slovenia. The owners were very friendly and helpful offering us recommendations and advice and letting us know about special events in the area. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with very comfortable beds. We had lovely views of the mountains and the lake. We would highly recommend this property.
Cute apartment is in the best location in Bohinj.. literally right next door to St John the Baptist church and the lake!! Supermarket and TI are across the street.

We had a great stay. The apartment is a modern and clean. Rooms were spacious. Good Wi-Fi connection and a chrome cast is installed on the TV.
It is located in a small village and from the apartment you’ll have a grand view of the surrounding mountains.
Also, Irena is the sweetest person you’ll meet in Slovenia. Very helpful and makes you feel right at home.

The location was wonderful, the apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The owners were super friendly and gave us lots of helpful tips for hikes and restaurants in the Bohinj area. My 3 year old son also greatly enjoyed it and had lots of fun with the cute cats around the house. I would highly recommend staying at Zorč if you go to the Bohinj area!
Everything was exactly as pictured in the listing. We enjoyed our time in the house and the village. It had all the best features of the surrounding area: close to Lake Bohinj, views of the mountains, easier to get in and out of the village compared to others, right next to nice restaurant and just up the street from the helpful ladies in the mercator.
Good location, lake Bohinj was just 2 minutes away and there was supermarket next to the hotel.

Wasn’t sure whether to book this hotel in Bohinj qs I wasn’t convinced the reviews matched the price point. I have mixed feelings. Staff were fab, spa was fab and the room was fab (large, clean and a really comfortable bed!). The proximity to the lake and the views are unrivalled and I’d probably stay again.

The host gave us some good tips for a good starting point for hiking and good restaurant recommendations. She also let us store our bags longer than I would have expected! That was very nice.

Exceptional little appartment near the lake and Voge cable car. The bed is so comfortable, we loved the balcony and the nice and spacious batheoom too. Mojca is friendly and can help you if you need advices in Slovenia.
