The breakfast was exceptionally good, with a diverse selection of food available. There was always plenty to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. However, the only downside was the occasional lack of pancakes. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent. it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycle

Izola is a small jewelry box.
Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. We are returning guests here and it was certainly not the last time we visited the town.

Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery....
It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.

Small quiet town. Many good restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, bars. Excellently built cycling routes. The surrounding towns of Portorož, Piran, Piranske soline, Koper are accessible by bicycle. Friendly people. Nice beaches, clean sea. Many options for trips to the surrounding area (Trieste, Miramare Castle, Sistiana/Italy or Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Pula/Croatia or Lipica, Postojna, Ljubljana, Tolmin, Bled/Slovenia)

Nice place.
Nice place. But look closely to the menu before entering a restaurant. Get a table in those where the locals with sweatpants and flip-flops are. Water is very clear and warm. Nice landscapes in the region. Leave Portoroz alone (unless you are a gambler).
The apartment is as on the pictures in quiet area of Izola, the beds in the main bedroom were comfortable, the apartment was clean and we enjoyed the terrace. the apartment has AC but it was not hot inside even when we haven't used it. Hoffer is few minutes walking from the apartment. we brought our bicycles therefore we felt the city center and beaches are not so far away and we enjoy the stay without using our car (without bicycles it could be more challenging for people which do not like to walk the whole day to the beach and back)
We booked last minute and were given an upgrade at check in. The room was very roomy and comfortable. The view was amazing! We had dinner at the restaurant and were given a complimentary appetizer and glass of wine. The food was very high quality and fresh. Breakfast was also very good with lots of choices. Sadly, we only got to stay one night. If we ever are able to return to Slovenia we will certainly stay at Belvedere Resort again. I highly recommend this place for lodging and food. The staff is excellent and friendly.
The appartment is very well located with only a few minutes walk to the marina and centre of town, we also took our bikes and had some lovely rides to Piran, Isola and Koper. The host Emil was wonderfully friendly and generous. We really enjoyed the lovely spacious garden area. Everything was spotless and comfortable, and the appartment had everything we needed. Slovenia is such a beautiful clean, safe and unspoilt country, and everyone we met was so friendly... we'll be back!
This is a great place to stay in Izola. Very clean, very comfortable apartment, very well equipped kitchen.
Amazing location - very close to the beach, wine bar, coffee shop, bakery, market - everything is in the very close proximity. And I should mention hospitality of our host - Jaša, he was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Really convenient location, being only a short walk away from the restaurants of Izola and right next to the beach. We had a nice balcony room with ocean view which was quiet and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was filling, although I did have higher quality breakfasts during my time in Slovenia.
We liked the hotel's style, the landscape was a little bit like Tuscany. Quiet place, lovely village, perfect to escape from the modern world and to charge the batteries.
The breakfast was great and the young lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly.
Such a lovely place, Natasa is absolutely kind and a warm hearted person. Never seen a Hotel, Motel or Guesthouse, where all the small lovingly arranged details makes a full picture of a perfect house!

Everything was top. The apartment is in a central location, you can reach all the nice spots by feet. Also a parking spot was included, which is a big plus in Izola.
