The breakfast was exceptionally good, with a diverse selection of food available. There was always plenty to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. However, the only downside was the occasional lack of pancakes. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the front office staff very friendly. Restaurant servers Milas and Anton were absolutely the best. They were so professional and their service was great. The view from the restaurant is awesome.

Delfin is perfect place if you know what is your expectation.
First I must sey, that Delfin have specific atmosphere. Build for the people young in the soul (+50/55 years) they have very ogranized program for all and from 7.30 to the night.
In the morning you have aqua gimnastic, after that breakfast, and gimnastic in the park, walking tour, lunch and after diner every night live program...
And the pool area is nice, warm, clean....

it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycle

Izola is a small jewelry box.
Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. We are returning guests here and it was certainly not the last time we visited the town.

Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery....
It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.

Small quiet town. Many good restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, bars. Excellently built cycling routes. The surrounding towns of Portorož, Piran, Piranske soline, Koper are accessible by bicycle. Friendly people. Nice beaches, clean sea. Many options for trips to the surrounding area (Trieste, Miramare Castle, Sistiana/Italy or Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Pula/Croatia or Lipica, Postojna, Ljubljana, Tolmin, Bled/Slovenia)

Nice place.
Nice place. But look closely to the menu before entering a restaurant. Get a table in those where the locals with sweatpants and flip-flops are. Water is very clear and warm. Nice landscapes in the region. Leave Portoroz alone (unless you are a gambler).
Booked whilst still in Zell um See the night before our arrival. Hotel exceeded our ex[pectation as it was in the hills around Izola, in renovated three buildings with swimming pool. Breakfast room was delightful and a well stocked breakfast was provided each morning. Because this was an old building the rooms were small doubles and bathroom was down the hall way, but for our use only.
As for location, resort was 15mins drive from Izola and a great drive.
Very spacious two-level apartment located a few minutes from the city center. Izola is a small town, so everything is nearby. We were welcomed by the bottle of local white wine and chocolates. The kitchen is fully equipped, and all those "small" things are already there (olive oil, sugar, tea, coffee). If you are coming during the winter as we did - the heating is working perfectly. If you are coming during the summer, there are ACs at both levels.
Andrej sent me already in advance some really helpful recommendations for some great restaurants in town. Ha was also at the place to handover the key and we had a pleasent chat.
The Location ins unbeatable, the sea is literally 30m away from the appartment, the old town starts also just behind the place. The Room has all the amenities you need for a good time in Izola. I'm totally satisfied with my stay.
Very modern, beautiful and clean hotel and room, with a beautiful view over the marina. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Staff is nice and helpful too. Reception isn't always manned, but the ice cream/pastry shop next to the breakfast room is part of the hotel and there is always someone there to help you. Everything is very laidback, you have no choice but to relax in Izola :)

Perfect apartment for 2 ppl in a modern building, the beach is just a 10 minute walk away and there are several restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We had to collect the keys at a downtown office but the staff were amazing and explained everything about the apartment and parking in detail and gave us tips on what to see in Izola.
