The breakfast was exceptionally good, with a diverse selection of food available. There was always plenty to choose from, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. However, the only downside was the occasional lack of pancakes. Despite this minor issue, the overall experience was excellent. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the front office staff very friendly. Restaurant servers Milas and Anton were absolutely the best. They were so professional and their service was great. The view from the restaurant is awesome.

it's a small city with good connection to other parts of Slovenian coast; the city center is very nice with plenty of cafes and restaurants, we enjoyed the cycle paths and cycle roads to Koper and Isola; we prefer to stay in Izola comparing to Portoroz and Koper and it's not so crowdy and everything is close also walking or using bicycle

Izola is a small jewelry box. With narrow streets, the delicious aromas of Mediterranean cuisine can be felt during an evening walk. We can meet very nice people here among the hosts. We ate fantastic food at the restaurants along the coast. You can eat fresh seafood straight from the sea. We are returning guests here and it was certainly not the last time we visited the town.

Lovely cosy seaside town. We enjoyed our stay as there were not many tourists, it is not crowded not even near the sea (not like Portoroz). The beaches are with stones, but that is ok if you have water shoes. You can find all the amenities you need in Izola - shops, market, post office, restaurants, pharmacy, bakery....
It is possile to travel to nearby towns by bus or by boat - Portoroz, Piran, Koper. To Koper is also a nice was from Izola along the sea or it is also possible to rent a bike.

Small quiet town. Many good restaurants, cafes, pastry shops, bars. Excellently built cycling routes. The surrounding towns of Portorož, Piran, Piranske soline, Koper are accessible by bicycle. Friendly people. Nice beaches, clean sea. Many options for trips to the surrounding area (Trieste, Miramare Castle, Sistiana/Italy or Umag, Poreč, Rovinj, Pula/Croatia or Lipica, Postojna, Ljubljana, Tolmin, Bled/Slovenia)

Nice place.
Nice place. But look closely to the menu before entering a restaurant. Get a table in those where the locals with sweatpants and flip-flops are. Water is very clear and warm. Nice landscapes in the region. Leave Portoroz alone (unless you are a gambler).
Fantastic location in the heart of Izola. The apartments are newly renovated with love to details with perfect working aircondition.
The apartment had new windows and doors so it was perfectly soundproof. Dobi is a great warmhearted and engaged host so it was nearly a family holiday! The Breakfast is so lovely! Fresh fruits from her own garden, homemade marmalade, local Cheese, Sausage, Bacon. Eggs or Omelette are created right for you! Cappuccino at all the time (there is a free machine). We are coming again!
Everything was as described and exactly what you would expect from an apartment located in the old town center. It was very clean and nicely furnished. The location was great - everything is within a few steps - many cafes and restaurants, grocery shop, farmers market, bakery, tourist information office, city beach, parking... The host also left me a pleasant welcome surprise and was very kind in communication. And Izola, in general, has a very nice and lively vibe.
Rooms clean and modern with good bathroom, air-conditioning, and even with a small fridge. The apartment is located in a small street just off the marina area.
When arriving to the apartment, approach from the marina side, its much more easy to find the street that way. If you chose to approach from within the town and get lost (like I did...), just call the owners and they will come and 'save' you.
We had had a wonderful experience in this hotel. The staff were friendly, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, the location is exceptionally quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful pool area, which was impeccably maintained and provided a serene spot to unwind. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!
This warm, comfortable, well equipped, clean apartment is well placed for a relaxing break in pretty Izola. Check in was very easy with the friendly host and having easy secure parking was a real plus. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre where there are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our short break here.
The location is PERFECT. It faces the bay and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. You must visit Zaro Wine Bar - it was exquisite. The unit was super spacious and had everything we needed. I would go back to Izola just to stay in the same unit again!

Cliff Belvedere has a perfect location for exploring the coast of Slovenia and the Istrian Peninsula. The level of service was exceptional. The comfort level was excellent. The made to order breakfast was fantastic.
The apartment is in the center of Izola, in a very quiet and good spot. Close to the beach. The room was clean, the kitchen included was great and allowed us to cook comfortably during our stay.
The flat is nice, the balcony is perfect. Izola old town is very close, the beach a bit further away, but still close. The parking space in front of the appartment comes handy.
Hotel is nice. Stuff was polite and very helpful with finding the parking spot, since there were no available spaces in front of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and various.
