We booked this hotel in the afternoon and it was no problem for our host. He called us and explained everything we needed to know.
His hospitality was something we wasn’t used to and is what made our stay here the best we had in Slovenia.
First of all our host had so many suggestions and things to do in the area and helped us out alot on our further travel.
Second of all he prepared a small breakfast for us even though we hadn’t ordered any breakfast and we got the chance to sit down and chat with him and he told us all about the history of the house and the area. An allround great guy and we will come back again to taste his full breakfast 😃

First thing is that the place is much bigger than the pictures, it is spacious , confortable, big rooms, excellant yard. It is very very clean, exrtreamly clean, and the owners are keeping it like that, it is like they are cleaning for them selves.
Also the appartment is equiped fully, from kitchen perspecite, very confortable beds, warm rooms.
There is one touch that I haven't found till now and that there is a radio, that is set to FM Station, but you may use your USB (although I did not used it since the ratio station was perfect), so we almost never used the TV set at all.
The owner are very very frendly, there for you if you need something.
Highly recommend this place.

Superb private location, with an amazing view of the lake, impeccable service from every member of staff and an excellent restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.
We did the wine tasting which was a highlight thanks to the knowledgeable sommelier who answered all our questions and provided a great insight into the huge range of wines that we didn’t realise existed.
The Kompas Hotel is located in the very centre of Bled, within the immediate vicinity of Lake Bled.

Well placed, good pool and hot tub, room was way to hot and air on couldn’t keep up, it wasn’t hot outside while we were there, never the less had two good nights sleep, great choice for breakfast.
Adora Luxury Hotel is positioned right next to Bled Lake and provides unique views of the lake, the island and Triglav Mountain.

The hotel is beautiful hotel and in a great location. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was easy. Our suite was gorgeous with two balconies with fantastic lake views. The suite had good amenities, a great shower and overall was very pleasant to stay in with a comfortable living space and comfortable beds.
Located on the shores of Lake Bled and surrounded by a beautiful park, Vila Bled is President Tito’s former summer residence. It features a luxury spa and offers free Wi-Fi.

Great place for a Vintgar gorge visit - this beautiful natural spot is really worth a visit. After visiting the gorge you can take a nice hike to Bled lake with its island and castle, the trail is quite easy with many nice views.

The village is mostly residential as we could see it.
The village is mostly residential as we could see it. You can probably use it as a base to explore the other areas, but for us it was a really good stepping stone on our journey of the day from Spittal an der Drau in Austria.
