Thanks to the hotel manager, we were upgraded to the deluxe room with ocean view, and we liked everything about our permanence. The building design is very nice and the position is great. I have to say that this hotel is much more private with respect to others. We enjoyed the breakfast, both quality and portions. The dinner choice is not huge, but the quality is really good. The staff is helpful and always ready to come with solutions in case of need (e.g. they gave us take away breakfast for the last day as we left early in the morning). I personally recommend this place.

You are more close and in contact with the local people and you find all the facilities- groceries petrol restaurants nearby.

Really very beautifull, clean, fully equipped, roomy and quiet accommodation (quiet except late June/July, when wind is strong). View from teracce is excellent. Very good free wifi. Self-catering apartment, close (300 m) to GRP Supermarket - "Indian Convenience" at Google maps. Open every day, you can find there practically all necessary for cooking, when you want to cook. And others... Payment via card in GRP is possible and without problems. But if you want, Didi & Sebastiano, owner of Jardin Marron, can cook for you - menu list is available and dish is very tastefull. Close to beautifull Anse Lazio, about 35 minutes per foot. And other nice, quiet and lonely small beaches are near. For Praslin, we didn´t need to rent a car for our 15 days stay, but it depends... Transport from Praslin airport to Jardin & back was arranged by owner (reccomended). Bus is cheap (12 SCR to anywhere/July 2022). From Jardin you can do Pasquiere track per foot to Island Pizzeria on opposite side of island (180 SCR for 2 was most expensive) and back - about 8 km, don´t worry. Or continue per foot to Anse Georgette viewpoint, then to Anse Lazio and back to Jardin Marron (round track about 18 km). More other activities are possible. Shortened, everything was OK - very recommended.

This area is very quiet and peaceful. Excellent for recharging your batteries. There isn't much to do in the area so you need to be aware that this is for pure relaxation more than anything.
The bus timings are a little unreliable and some of the drivers seem to drive as if they're in a race, which makes it all a bit uncomfortable.
The ferry port services are very good and ferries are reliable. There is a dive centre next to the port - if that's your thing - good rates and friendly staff too. You can charter a boat from them also.

I was on foot so didn’t get to explore much, but the scenery was beautiful. I snorkelled a little and saw plenty of fish, though there was better snorkelling when I went on a separate tour (as expected). Overall, very scenic place but you’d need a car to make the most of it

Nice location, well positioned to "everywhere" on the island. But we recommend to rent and use a car against just using a public transport - even if also with it you can however to get nearly to all possible places on the island, but you might lose a lot of time, which you could otherwise enjoy on beaches, jungle, etc.

During my travel I already visited so many places but this hotel I would describe like beautiful cozy and magical place with amazing architecture. Clean bright big rooms. The sweetest and most helpfull general manager and whole team in the hotel always welcome us with a smile on their faces. Delicious breakfast bufet and romantic dinners on the sand and next to the ocean. I'm really happy and thankfull that we spent our few days on the island in this hotel def. coming back. Highli recommend rooms with sea view it's breathtaking.
We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The hotel is in good location, fitted in beautiful garden, with free parking spaces. The room itself is larger than standard, clean, with balcony and stunning view. We booked half board - tasty breakfast with pancakes, croissants, hotel-made jam, eggs, tea & coffee. Three course dinner was luxurious. There was always a choice between a fish and a no-fish dish. Staff was always nice, friendly and helpful and infinity pool is perfect for chilling after or before the day

It was a unique experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful tropical garden. Staff - always smiling and helpful, very friendly, ready to fulfill any request. The room was perfectly cleaned every day. Breakfast is something wonderful - beautifully presented, in a restaurant overlooking the ocean, eaten in the company of sociable birds. Spectacular swimming pool. It is about 7-10 minutes to the bus stop and the shop run by a very nice gentleman.
Hotel's location is perfect... It's just behind an amazing white sandy beach.. And also you can easly access to St.Pierre (5 min) and Crouise Islands (10 min) for swimming and diving by boats which are just on the beach.. We were pleased with the breakfast and the dinner, so we didn't need to look for another restaurant to eat. Lastly special thanks to Ms. Nadya for all her assistment during our holiday.
The best hotel I’ve stayed at! The views are absolutely stunning, the gardens, the rooms all perfect! Traveled solo for my birthday and from check in to check out I had no regrets! The food was spectacular, fair priced and overall extremely happy I chose to celebrate my day at the Colibri! Thank you to the staff for making me feel special! I’ll definitely be back!
Old world charm hotel with top class modern day luxuries, the hotel is on a beach which is actually a bay and part of a marine park, the open air restaurant on the pier was incredible, saw a sting ray and a rather large reef shark swim past during dinner, great friendly staff especially Danny and Jude. Overall the setting of the hotel on the bay was breathtaking!
As we arrived everything was great - hosts, check in, the room. All staff were friendly and explained us all what we needed to know. Room was spacious and small terrace was plus as in front we had a cute pool which was fantastic. Breakfast was good and tasty. The best part was car rental straight from the hotel for great value.

Wonderful location, the view from the room is breathtaking. The hotel has a private beach in the bay with very calm and clear waters (no big waves compared to other beaches on the island). The staff is very nice, always looking to help with anything, cleaning staff does its job very well, and the food is great! You will not want to leave!
I absolutely loved the hotel, everything was amazing. The staff is great, the facilities are lovely, it felt very exclusive and private. The room and the view blew our minds! It was clean, well-run, luxurious and the staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The hotel is located right on the longest beach in Praslin and offered free use of kayaks, SUPs and snorkeling gear. The included buffet dinners were great!
