We came during Eid ul Adha, the souq night market was closed, attractions and visitor center were closed, we weren't allowed inside the Lawrence of Arabia House, but the fish restaurants by the waterfront were open. We particularly enjoyed the one at corner of the block across the Yanbu Port office, highly recommended. One particularly lovely cafe by the mosque in the old quarter called Aloo Cafe was also open, albeit on shortened hours. The Radwa Museum was also open, there was some activity in the evening in the park, we enjoyed the after-dinner karak coffee in one of the stalls, otherwise it was very quiet. We didn't mind it. It was an authentic experience for us, but future visitors may note that Eid is also time for the locals to take their holidays to go out of town. It's also very warm and humid in mid-June when we came, which kept us indoors most of the time. Take this in consideration when planning to visit Yanbu.

Getting there by car is a long journey from Riyadh. The city has some well developed areas by the royal commission. Those areas are beautiful and clean and well maintained. Rest of the city is very simple and basic. Waterfronts are good and beaches are clean.

Yanbu is certainly underrated.
Yanbu is certainly underrated. It already offers a lot of great opportunities for snorkeling, diving and boat trips, as well as a nice old city center. Old city undergoing renovation work will certainly make it even better in the future. We found Yanbu people very nice and helpful.

Developing town. I was amused by Sultan Almashwiyat restaurant, i will definitely revisit if i am in Yanbu again.
Clean roads and well organized service areas.

We went for the scuba diving and no other reason, it was spectacular. We ate in local cafes, we were the only Westerners there & I was the only woman so people were curious but very friendly. The food was delicious & so cheap. Next time we will hire a car as it was difficult to get around but other than that, an amazing place.

Short stay in Yanbu was great, especially the hotel that we booked was just located closer to the pride of yanbu, the historical heritage. The staffs in the hotel were very accommodating, welcoming. The place was comfortable. We would book in the same hotel in the next visit.
This is one of the cleanest hotels I've been to in Saudi Arabia (bad hygiene standards everywhere). Very, very clean. Classic furniture, good matress, a shower that doesn't spill water all over, AC, fridge, complimentary tea/coffee/water/toiletry and breakfast. Good price for Saudi standards.Secured parking on the back for my motorcycle. Very friendly and helpful staff. I was extremelly pleased with my stay!

Pros:
1. The location of the hotel is amazing where you are in the middle between Yanbu old town and Yanbu Industrial City.
2. The staff were helpful and welcoming and willing to asset you.
3. They are good view to the Yanbu waterfront.
4. Quiet place to stay.
5. Close to Gas station and several restaurants.

We got an excellent deal through booking.com and got a three-bedroom room for a fracture of the normal price. After arrival, we had to convince the staff that we got the big room, but after we sorted it out everything was fine. The hotel is new and modern. Very clean and much space to move around. The bathrooms are clean, and the beds are very comfortable. A/C in each room.
service response is very quick , reception people are very happy welcoming , resort blue marina Kitchen was amazing, a very talented Chef Mr Abdulnaser is cooking a very delicious amazing variety of dishes. Rooms are cozy , very close beach to accommodation with beautiful see view.

Hotel receptionist Abdulmuneem was very cooperative and friendly. Hotel location is good and recommended for families. Easy to access airport from here. Facilities is found hygienic.
Value of money, the service of front desk employees, the cleanness of the rooms, the facilities & generally the hotel is very nice if you consider the number of stars and paid amount.
The location is close the beach area. It was clean and the team in the reception were wonderful ( specially Khalid Aljohani and another Egyptian man I forgot his name.
