It’s just a magical place. The whole area is protected and beautifully preserved. The whole area as well as the caravans are breathtaking. Exceeded by far our expectations. The staff was amazing!

We like the area of Al Ula so much and we was so supprised we found for last moment this resort. We did reservation with Booking.com and we arrive really late, after permission from call it is possible. We stay one night with two very small children and we got only King room, but was tottaly enough. Even breakfest was only for adults, but children was eating too. We will come again🩷🤩

My colleagues and I stayed at this property for 2 nights. Abdul Rahman is highly warm and welcoming. He stayed up late when we reached around midnight. He made sure that we get all amenities we needed. I would also like to mention about his honesty and integrity because he returned extra money to us. Thank you so much for being a kind host.

I highly recommend staying at the Caravan Habitas AlUla.
I highly recommend staying at the Caravan Habitas AlUla. The rooms are vintage Airstreams with full AC. Every "Caravan" has a view of the mountains. Our stay was magical. The staff could not have been more helpful, The pool at Our Habitasis was unworldly and so beautiful. AlUla itself contains so many archaeological marvels and is an area steeped in history and cultural artefacts. Tours and activities should be booked before you arrive to avoid any disappointments. Hiring a car is cost-efficient and highly recommended.

Wonderful historic city with small fort to climb and local heritage Centre. Take the opportunity to drive out from the city to get a real sense of the Arabian landscape especially Hegra. There are many hidden gems you can only really discover if you take a rental car - 4x4 mostly recommended for hire at the airport. Driving very easy.

The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area.
The guides in Hegra are the best thing about the area. They are well informed and welcoming of visitors.
Al Ula overall was a disappointment this time. I had previously visited 10 years ago when there was basically nothing for tourists other than one hotel and Hegra. It’s nice to have more options now, but most of the places visited, dined with, or stayed in were charging very premium prices for average or less services. I definitely saw and experienced less of the actual place than when it was undeveloped, aside from what the Hegra guides showed. A big part of that is the barriers to doing just about anything there unless you reserve and pay up in advance. When locations are spaced apart and people run on vacation time, it’s annoying to have to fix reservations for everything. There are few walk up options, even in less crowded times. It seems a place for the less adventurous and more those who want to hang out inside a resort.
Hopefully places can find their way on service levels and become overall more competitive with the luxury desert experiences in the UAE or the more traditional leaning camps in Jordan. It’s a great area inhabited by really nice people. Those should be the faces visitors see.

We were unsure what to expect but AlUla has completely charmed us. The locals were incredibly kind and friendly and we always felt like we could approach anyone for a chat and a laugh. I was nervous about not wearing an abaya but was never made to feel bad. I would advise ladies to bring one along and just see how you feel about not wearing it. We loved the Hegra tour and the OlD Town was absolutely charming.

AlUla is fabulous - if you get a chance, you should definitely go. Transport is an issue - so a car or tour would be best, though I did it with taxis etc and it was fine, just requires a few logistics! A fabulous place to stay and amazing sights to see, with trendy and cool venues/restaurants - in addition to friendly people. It's sort of aimed at the luxury end - but I did more middling, and definitely possible!

The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting,...
The area is in a unique geographical and geological setting, surrounded by 500 million-year-old sandstones. These sandstones shed light on the unique palaeoenvironmental conditions that existed during the deglaciation of the Gondwanan supercontinent in the Ordovician and early Silurian periods. On top of that, there is the presence of the ancient Nabatean civilisation, which settled in this region in the late Bronze Age. Their relics speak of a thriving culture, making this place truly magical. As a result, taking a vacation in this region is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
We rented three apartments. They are beautifully decorated and furnished, and exceptionally clean. From two of them we had a beautiful view of the nearby sandstone cliffs. Finding such good accommodation for a relatively reasonable price is not very easy in Al Ula these days.
The host (Abu Ilias) was there waiting to meet us when we arrived, and was extremely helpful and attentive, quickly providing some small things that were missing when we asked.
Amazing location hidden between dates trees, on the foot of the mountains. The host is discreet and kind, helpful but not insistent, willing to offer the help that you ask for. Al Ula is an expensive location in general, having all the comodities of a modern life at your hand is not cheap in that arid area. The property has all you need and some important extras: cleanliness, space, discretion, quietness and beauty of the surroundings.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area far away from the center, but the owner will get you everywhere by his car. I had just one day in Al Ula, but I got to see a lot. Abu Ali picked me up at the airport and drove me around the main tourist sights and back to the airport for extra 200 SAR. Getting a taxi would be much more expensive. Also, you get to see how common people live in Saudi Arabia.
clean, beds are huge, there are fridges and microwaves in the suites. it’s not a hotel but provides everything that a hotel would including toiletries, towels and slippers. the host’s son is very good at English and helps with communication. I was able to get good information before coming here. You can ask them for transfer too. the host is also a very generous man who’s very willing to offer help.
The staff waited for us to check in even though we arrived after the time indicated on the reservation. The room was very large. The hotel is located in a beautiful location, far from the town center (about 10/15km) but very beautiful from a naturalistic point of view and far from the chaos of Al Ula. The hotel has an orchard from which you can pick fruits in the morning for breakfast.
Very nice owner and apartments itself. You need to have car in Al ULA everything far and no apartments in the center. I would say that it is very difficult to find place in Al ULA, so if you don't want to spend 300-500€ per night, stay here. Address in booking.com brings you opposite site of the stree, so better contact owner before in WhatsApp and discuss meeting point
The location of the hotel was great! In the middle of a quiet area yet close to all sights and places. The hotel staff we're very kind and made the stay a very enjoyable & comfortable experience. The breakfast was great, a selection of international cuisines and the hotel offers a wonderful array of activities to do!
Stargazing is highly recommended.
Ibrahim is the best guy in whole Saudi Arabia! He helped us when we were in trouble. Room is very nice, clean and spacious. There is everything you need to have comfortable stay in Al Ula. Ibrahim recommended us restaurant with delicious cammel meat dish and showed incredible places in Al Ula. Thank you for your hospitality!
Wonderful area - such nice view on the mountain above Al Ula. Very safe location, supermarket and restaurants are only few minutes walk, bus stop 15 minutes.
Apartment is large, one living room, one bedroom with comfortable bed.
Bathroom was provided by towels, what is unusual in Saudi Arabia low prices hotels
For me the location is fine because it is a short distance from the hospital where I was working. The location is also very quiet and beautiful.
The room was very comfortable,, clean and spacious.
I have stayed in other places in Al Ula and this is the best for me and my needs.
very clean with all necessary amenities.
they gave us welcome chocolates and water as complimentary.
very beautiful suite at a very prime location. the host was so sweet and amazing . we had a good time chatting with him about al ula and it’s sightseeings .
The host/owner was amazing. He immediately became my guide and driver while I was in Al Ula (for which I paid extra). His English is not so good (and neither is my Arabic), but we managed all right, and there was no part of the area he did not know.
It was a good place to stay at in al ula, confortable enough; the staff i talked to was helpful to us in getting our kits for the race that we went to attend (but for an extra cost)
Really nice set-up. Good location to do activities in Al Ula. Decent breakfast with lots of options.
Suhail was incredibly helpful and welcoming.
Good range of activities on offer.
The hotel is simply magnificent. The location is fantastic, as if you were in another planet. The staff is amazing and always willing to help. One of my best experiences !
