Peaceful, well maintained city. The traffic is very regularized. People drive with a sense of responsibility. Neat and clean all around. Just the water needs to be kept clean as the stagnant water gives out bad odour

I loved walking on the Corniche of Dammam and Khobar. It was is a very peaceful and there are very less crowds.
crescent beach and Island are also very good places to visit.
there are lots of options for fine dining and cafes.
However it was definitely Hot during the day. but when compared with other places of KSA. it was not that HOT.

We enjoyed Ithra, allow 2-3 hours at least. Uber drivers were great. On time and careful drivers. We ate in a great buffet dinner at a restaurant next to the Heritage Village but I can't find the name. The food was very fresh and the staff was kind and attentive. It was next to another restaurant that had a bowling alley in it. The Heritage Village was closed, even thought the web site said it was open (always have a plan B in KSA). In the morning before we caught the train back to Riyadh, we had a great Uber driver that was from Khobar who knew where to take us. We ate breakfast on the Khobar Cornish, saw some beautiful mosques and other buildings and drove around a round about with a beautiful design of running horses. My companion raises and shows horses so this was special to her.

Beaches are nice. Much nice if provided more toilet/bath complexes near the beach. it was a big queue to get a clean shower.

Beware of parking. I got a parking ticket from private company called TAKI. I asked them if i could pay by SADAD and they said no. Only option is to come to their office in dammam and pay direct. Luckily we did not exit the city and returned back and paid them. When i asked where did i violate? They said come after 3 days and you will find. I still wonder where did i park wrong.

The days we stayed in Dammam are one of the hottest temperatures. Unfortunately, we cannot be outdoors and most of the time, we stayed in the hotel, which we enjoyed. Maybe next time we will visit around October/November/December
Excellent location. It is just a minute walk from Dammam Corniche. We enjoyed our evening walk at the corniche and the sunset was awesome. My friends enjoyed their morning jog at the Corniche and had a great time disturbing the locals who were fishing.:) They were actually very accommodating and taught them how to fish. Madam at the counter was very polite and gamely joined us in our never ending picture taking. The staff were all polite and helpful. It is accessible to cafes and we got parking space.
The staff, once directed, did a fair job of cleaning. The manager, after I was able to get in touch with him, did a good job of following through with the issues I presented. Room service offered a limited food selection which was actually pretty good. They had an area for smoking shisha (hookah) by the poolside, both inside and outside with a large screen projector. The location of this hotel is very good as it is near the malls, many food restaurants, grocery stores, and Jarir Bookstore.
Villa Misk is a newly open hotel after renovation - the equipment, furniture and arrangements are totally new. All rooms and a bathroom are modern, clean and comfortable. Kichenette is well equiped.
The manager and staff are very helpful and react immediately to any guests requests and suggestions. Especially ready to help is Cris.
The location is very good, close to the Corniche, city center and a few malls (walking distance). The surrounding area is very safe.
We booked only one night at the hotel because we wanted to be close to Saptco bus station which is basically at the corner. During this one day what we could discover from the neighbourhood is that there are several shops and small restaurants nearby. In genaral we were satisfied, mainly with the location. Value for money hotel.

A good hotel, not far from the SAPTCO bus terminal, which was super convenient as I needed to take a bus from Dammam to Bahrain. The hotel was nice, room was clean, private bathroom. Overall a good stay.
