Beautiful location. The house is built in a traditional style and has all the amenities and facilities of the present day. Large and comfortable rooms and nice pieces of interior design objects that resemble the old days interior of such houses. The house boasts of a spectacular garden designed with seating/relaxation areas which run down towards the river flowing in the back of the house. In the evening the garden is illuminated with twinkle like small light bulbs creating a very cozy atmosphere.
The host was every day with her guests during breakfast entertaining a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere like that of a small community of travellers sharing their experiences of holiday making.

The place is very close to the mocanita train station with a free parking spot - no need to leave your car around.
We stayed there just one night, but those who stay more may enjoy the garden, the bbq and the shared kitchen.

Our visit was to travel on the steam train “Mocanita”- that is a must see. The 20 minute walk from our hotel to the station was described as well sign posted- there was no signage and had to rely on the iPhone to reach our destination.
Fine location - opposite the Mocanita attraction and 10 minutes walk from center Viseu De Sus. Good starting point for treks in the mountains above Borsa and neighbor villages. Convenient room and perfect shower and toilet (optimal water pressure). Our hosts, Julian and his joyful family, made us feel as we were at home, including free coffee (great Espresso machine). julian had helpful tips for activities in the area. Mostly recommended guesthouse.
The hotel was realy what we were hoping for. The room was very clean, with everything you need, the food was delicios with a plentiful menu with traditional dishes and the staff was great, very polite and helpful. Also the hotel was very well situated, only 5 min drive from the railway. As a bonus we got some really cool hiking tips and ideas from our host which filled the day just right. I'm really looking forward to booking a 2nd trip!
Really nice stay. The food is amazing. Lots of options. The lava cake is extremely delicious. Room and bathroom were very clean. Nice pool, jacuzzi and sauna (both dry and wet). Private parking in front of the hotel.
