Our visit was to travel on the steam train “Mocanita”- that is a must see. The 20 minute walk from our hotel to the station was described as well sign posted- there was no signage and had to rely on the iPhone to reach our destination.

Quite central location to explore both Maramures and Rodnei mountains. For Rodnei, use old lift in Borsa - easiest way to get close to its ridge. But be aware that one day trips in mountains are demanding - downhill pathways could be really steep and demanding.
Fine location - opposite the Mocanita attraction and 10 minutes walk from center Viseu De Sus. Good starting point for treks in the mountains above Borsa and neighbor villages. Convenient room and perfect shower and toilet (optimal water pressure). Our hosts, Julian and his joyful family, made us feel as we were at home, including free coffee (great Espresso machine). julian had helpful tips for activities in the area. Mostly recommended guesthouse.
Wonderful , modern , elegant decorations hotel . Excellent bedding. Very very clean , the restaurant , servers & food were great . Amazing ( included )breakfast , I especially liked the roasted veggies with mushrooms. They had self serve espresso machine for you to make your own espresso, cappuccino or latte. Very good quality coffee.Beyond expectations.

The vibe at farmhouse, good for family and kids with animals (horses, donkey, ostriches, goat, bunny, dogs, chickens and cats).

Super clean appartment in the center of Viseu de Sus and at 15 min by walking from Mocanita.
We really enjoyed our stay in this place. The appartment has also some utilities (microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine at the common space)

The location is excelent, in the center of Vișeu, with acces to restaurants, shops, and close to the Mocănița train station.

The hotel was very clean and modern, the spa area looked fabulous but has an entry fee even of you are staying at the hotel, the view was nice and there's a river nearby, you can hear it flowing.
The staff was polite and tried to help us as much as they could. The hotel is clean and quiet. I recommend the pool and spa if you happen to be there and manage to find a not so busy time of day.

One of the fee hotels that came well prepared with a proper baby crib, with a brand new baby mattress and proper sheets!
It was a very warm welcome and I had a very good time together with the owners and other guests. I can really recommend this place if you want to stay some days in Viseu de Sus.
