The only plus point of this hotel is its location in the city centre and its parking. The rest is completely useless. Regarding the staff: our plane was delayed, we did the check in at night, the staff at night were unbelievably arrogant, rude, did not give any information, it is a shame that such a hotel has such staff (at night). In the morning there was a very nice and polite gentleman. However, at the breakfast area (where there was more "communist", rude staff than the food itself) the situation repeated itself: really, a little smile for the guests in such a hotel would not hurt. We took this hotel because of the late check in time, but we will never ever go back there, don't make the mistake of paying 100e for dirt, stink and rude staff. Timishoara has so many beautiful places to stay! Avoid the Hotel Continental!

A real blast from the past here - very dark reception with lots of old wooden fittings. Nothing changed in at least 30 years, but it has its charm. Everything works and its clean, just rather old. Private parking is a big plus and the staff are very helpful.

Lots to see and do. Facilities all close and available and easy to get around. We loved the river boats and all the many restaurants in the town centre. Shopping is a breeze. You can walk just about everywhere. Perfect.

I came for a conference but kept spare days to walk about in the town centre and understand the history and its place in the revolution of 1989. Locals were very friendly and polite. Public transport is efficient. International airport 10 miles from the centre. Proximity to the Serbian border means a day trip to Belgrade is also possible.

Our double room with balcony was great for us but we upgraded to the apartment which was very spacious with a fab terrace and lovely views of the churches and parks. The old town was busy but not overcrowded, felt safe day and night, plenty of places to eat and drink, we at at Whispers and an omelette place, great food. 2 days in the old town was enough for us but if you like history and architecture then a day or two longer May be required. Lovely relaxing tim, fond memories of Timisoara, look forward to returning

The city is amazing especially in the night time. I was hoping because it is a faculty city to be more young people outside but it was pretty much the opposite. The caffes and restaurants are open until a reasonable hour, there is more chance to meet people there. All in all very nice and it also has a beautiful history.
I recently stayed at Hotel President and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and situated in a quiet neighborhood, yet conveniently close to Union Square and other attractions, all within walking distance. The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and accommodating, allowing me to park early and facilitating an early check-in. The hotel's private parking was a bonus, offering convenience and security. The room itself was spacious and featured a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful stay. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel President.
The flat and its location in the city center is really good. Everything is in a walking distance. I spent few days there alone, in the summer, and this ground floor apartment gave nice and cool shelter during the hot peaks. There's everything you need, and the room and the kitchen are quite spacious.
I'm also glad for Ioana and Cosmin. They were very helpful with my lastminute changes in the booking. So communication was excellent.
This was hands down the best apartment I rented on booking. It is situated in a historical building in downtown Timisoara. It is very spacious and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a long stay. Everything inside is new and fully equipped and every surface was perfectly clean. The host is very helpful and responsive, giving us all the info we needed. This is 10 out of 10 for me, nothing to complain about.
Location was very nice, close to city center. Everything was very clean and functional. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Parking space was across the street, locked and safe. Big enough for an SUV. Self check in was easy to understand and the owner was very communicative over booking messaging service. When i come back to Timișoara, i will look up this apartment first.
Hotel is very cheap, but still offers decent service and decent rooms, so it is very good quality for money. Staff is friendly and there is free parking available on site, which is very important in Timisoara. Location is quiet, it is right next to Bega river, close to Gara de Nord (10 minutes) and close to city center and other important locations (10 - 15 minutes). All in all, I recommend it.
Right choice to be if you need a cozy place 10 minutes walk from city center. From start till end, exceptionally good service, staff is accommodating in every way. Room was in modern design, comfortable, clean with king size bed that was like a cloud. Bathroom is very spacious, equipped with walk in shower. The hotel has a state of the art stake house with premium wine selection. Free parking.
Apartment we got was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. I have to note that apartment was different then the one shown on booking, but we got good alternative. Apartment was in city center, 2 minutes walk from main square. In front of the building there is a public on street parking which costs 3,5e per day (Mon-Fri).
Regarding my stay at Hotel Silva in Timisoara, the room was a highlight. I particularly liked the spaciousness and modern design, which provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The room featured amenities like air conditioning and free WiFi, which all added to the convenience and enjoyment of my stay.
I liked the zone, very quiet and nice. The hotel looks amazing and staff is exceptionally friendly, SPA zone is clear and nice to have! Food is very good, one of the best in town, from the plating to the taste and the communication about preferences. Overall a really good experience you should have.
Excellent room facilities; superb view; super location near the historical downtown of Timișoara, hosting a rich heritage of cultural diversity spanning centuries. One of the memorials of the Dec 1989 revolution is also located near the hotel. Other memorials are reachable by walking distance.
Went for a one-day stay in Timisoara and looked for an affordable hotel with the parking space. In that context I am overall happy with the hotel. It has an old shool vibe, but the room interior seems recently renovated. On the ground floor there's a pizzeria with the really good food.
The hotel is right in the center where the best sights and restaurants are. It’s generally clean and bright. But for me the best part is the spa with the dry and wet sauna and the pool with different water massages. Just take not it’s not really a pool pool for swimming.
The place is clean and well equipped with everything we needed and it also had a free parking space in front of the apartment. Communication with the host was easy via Booking app, as well as the self check-in/ -out.
