Suceava is an attractive town with good amenities and a pleasant atmosphere. With its wide boulevard, central square and pavement cafes it's perfect for an evening stroll. The beautiful monastery, fortress and traditional village museum are definitely worth a visit. Suceava is the perfect starting point for visiting the stunning painted monasteries, several of which are just outside the town.

The important point about Suceava is as a centre for visiting the many attractions of the Bucovina, the surrounding area - in particular the painted monasteries; walking in the hills, woods and valleys; the handicrafts, the layout and architecture of the village houses; and the food of the region. But do not forget the Bucovina Village Museum and the Castle (Cetatea de Scaun) on the outskirts of Suceava itself.

The churches, monasteries and fort we're very interesting. Easy to get around on Uber. Everything excellent value for money. Perfect for a weekend break. Need Google translate for menus etc. Research beforehand worthwhile to choose excellent restaurants and coffee/cake places. Excellent hotel made the difference. Would be good to do another weekend break in Spring or Summer

Best place to say in Suceava. Host was very accommodating, location of apartment was almost prefect, close to center. When we could not get a taxi to the train station he reached out to several taxis and we could not find us one, he drove us to the train station. would stay with him a again. Very family orientated and location and everything was top notch.
The district, where hotel is located is great, peaceful, with good infrastructure- Lidl 3 minutes away- and not far away from the city center. There is a private hotel parking lot which eliminates any parking issues and nice outside terrace to have a coffee or a glass of wine. The room was nice, with a small fridge and hair dryer, towels and a quite comfortable bed. The breakfast was tasty and sustainable with eggs, salad, bread and coffee served a la carte.
The hotel is in a good location only a short walk along a well lit road from Suceava station. Although it was fairly late in the evening when I arrived, I felt safe in the area, and happy to walk alone. The hotel receptionist spoke good English, and was efficient, directing me to my room, and ensured that I felt welcome there. The room itself was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, the temperature right, and a good night's sleep ensued.
The owner informed us that we can take the keys from the room to the keylock and sent the code from the keylock in Messenger WhatsApp. When we arrived at the place, at 1 am, we could not open the keylock, we wrote to the owner and he informed us that there was an error and the keylock password is wrong. Unfortunately, we couldn't get to our room that night, so we went to another hotel. This was mty worst experience.
Comfortable beds, clean cozy room, tasty breakfast with plenty of choices, polite friendly and accommodating staff. We were amazed by how helpful the reception staff was - my daughter forgot her jewelry in the bathroom and the hotel offered and did send a parcel to Bucharest on their own expense . Thank you Mandachi Hotel! We will choose to stay there again if we ever need again accommodation in Suceava

Affordable hotel next to the train station, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean so where the sheets and the was hot water in the shower - you can't really expect more in that price class category.

Suceava doesn't feature clever taxi free now bolt or any of those apps... So you have to rely on the hotel calling cabs on the phone... Which is soooo... 2000 and lame.
