I had a wonderful experience for 3 days in Sibiu. We had the best accommodation at Transylvanian Valley: central but very quiet location, welcoming rooms and a dreamy inner courtyard where we enjoyed our coffee. Actually everything here was great, and our host (Filip) really made the difference, even giving us recommendations about places in Sibiu. Transylvanian Valley is a place where you want to come back for sure.

Lovely old town with small and large square and lots of interesting and colorful architecture. I recommend to visit the Brukenthal National Museum and of course the beautiful bridge of lies (by night extra special). We travelled with our two dogs and saw no stray dogs in Sibiu.

Great historical city with a cosmopolitan feel and surroundings worth exploring also depending on the season. Paltinis has decent skiing (24km away) and Dumbrava is a cute recreational area. Very clean and well maintained central area.

We visited the upper and lower town, the city walls and took lots of pictures of the eyes of Sibiu. It’s a very walkable small city. We also visited, on the recommendation of our host, the Astra National Ethnographic Museum Complex. We ate traditional Romanian dishes and drank local craft beer at Restaurant La Bubu.

The best place we stayed during our weeklong trip to Romania. The room was large and well equipped, the shower was modern and had excellent pressure and temperature, the bed was comfortable.
I left an expensive item in my room and they immediately contacted me to let me know. When it took me a while to return to collect it they went out of their way to ensure I could get it back. Even before this experience they were our favourite place we stayed and this just further demonstrated their professionalism.
They even had candy in the room!
We didn’t like anything at this property. Very poor services: parking not free, we paid £150 for a room only with wifi. AC didn t work, breakfast not included. €20 for a breakfast is very expensive and €10 for parking. We came from UK, but there for £150 you have everything included: breakfast, and parking as well.
In the bathroom was hair, no shower gel in dispenser and mirrors dirty. We have been stayed in Romania in 3 stars hotels nicer than this and much cleaner. We can t call this 4 stars hotel.
Location is perfect - just outside the historic centre of Sibiu. The room itself was gorgeous with beautiful frescos on the wall, spacious and well- equipped. The building is just a dream, super romantic.
Bathroom was clean and just large enough. Airco worked flawlessly, a big bonus in Romanian summers :-)

The room was really nice and bright , the bathroom and the shower worked perfectly!! (Believe me that is rare- there is usually something off concerning showering) the beds were the most comfortable, and the hosts were very, very nice. The location was great. I couldn’t have been happier here.
The service here is really excellent. Rooms are comfortable and have plenty of space. The hotel is in a great location in the old town. Parking is available within a few hundred meters in each direction, and we were able to find a space. The town has a very well organized parking payment system with signs explaining how to pay.
The Hotel is brand new, you can tell that the quality is something that was kept in mind, with premium materials, design, facilities. Also breakfast was one of the best in Romania, with great selection, natural squeezed oranges so plenty to chose from.
