The location is just on the side of Danube, offering a stunning view during the day. You can see the fishes swimming in the water. It offers a very good value for the price, although it doesn't look like new. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

A very good option to stay. It is close to Lidl, the mai square and the property itself is very clean, cozy, spacious and it has a great air conditioner, bath and beds. The most pleasent thing was the terrace, as we were sitting their bery comfortable even when it was raining and also a great hospitability from the landlord. I recommend hiking the "Ciucarul Mare" track and doing a bicycle tour along the Danube river, starting in the village of Eselnita and cover the most spectaculous part by going (at least) as far as Dubova.

The only thing to be seen in this city is the lake, and a boat trip on the Danube. There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. The view of the city is sad.

The city is nice and quiet, and all good things are near the center.
Great to the take long evening walks on the promenade, but prepare for it with some mosquito repellent.

The city is very well placed around Danube River, mountains and 30 km away from thermal baths in Herculane.
You can enjoy the city in all seasons. Can get a walk around the Danube or klimb the hills around. Can get on top of the hill/mountain and have a spectacular view of the Danube both on Romanian and Serbian sides.
It is close to go to thermal baths in Herculane, just 3 kms away. It is great for water sports or just enjoying a boat/ship cruise along the Danube.
Can also serve fresh fish in the local restaurants.
Booked for 2 nights the room was excellent and I absolutely fell in love with the view from my balcony breathing....The host was amazing and collected me from the train station and back when left this beautiful land Orsova .

We chose to stay in Orsova second time on our trip across Europe! The photos of the apartment are spot on! Very modern place, fully equipped, bathroom 10/10. It was during a heatwave we were travelling and the air con was the best thing ! We couldn't be more grateful for that. Cute neighbors seating on the bench downstairs were so nice and helpful. Beautiful view of the Danube, close to all major supermarkets. Really we can highly recommend it!
Owner picked us up from the train station, which was appreciated after a long day of travel, and given that the station in Orsova is at great distance from the town center. The apartment exceeded our expectations, as it was fully modernized. The kitchen was well stocked, with everything needed for cooking and serving meals. Coffee maker was well received. View from the kitchen makes the stay at Sunshine Apartment totally worthwhile.
This is a newly built hotel close to the Danube Lake. In a quiet area about 1km west of the city centre. The reception was very suitable. Easy to find.
The breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant in the evening. It was great experience driving along the road stopping to admire the view by the Danube. Boats trips are available from Orsova.
Modern design, sparkly clean apartment with beautiful view of Danube over the roofs of houses. We loved the place. If we come again to Orsova will stay again there. The host was really nice and met us with the key the moment we arrived. She also recommended a boat tour on the Danube, which was amazing, we enjoyed every minute!
I stayed at this place twice on two different occasions - had to stop in Orsova for the night. Excellent. Car park in front of the door, very helpful girl at reception (when she is not waiting at tables in the restaurant). You will sleep literally over one of the great European rivers. This comes for about 50 euros a night!!
Excellent interaction with the host, quick access to the apartment, and an outstanding location for Orșova - the promenade along the Cerna River. The apartment is very clean and perfectly equipped for a few nights. Lots of options for groceries and restaurants around.
All was good: location, external environment, service, comfortable room for 2+1 family (not so much popular in other hotels), very nice lightning outside the building, tasty food at restaurant, we've enjoyed a lot stay there (maybe except mosquitoes...)

Amazing place, I think the best location in Orsova! Great host, very responsive, and attention to our needs. Very quiet place with amazing facilities, a huge terrace, a pool, a garden, more than you can need or think you need.
I stayed here before so that's why I choose to stay again at Taka. The room had a great view over the Cerna River and after dark you can see the lights from Orsova. The location is best suited if you're just passing through.
