The whole experience was amazing. As soon as we arrived on the farm, we were greeted by the dog and the little girl who were both adorable. The gradmother let us roam around the grounds and explore the fields with some goats. The farm is quite remote so you can really sense the feel of authentic Rumanian village life. But the hotel on the farm was super clean and the rooms were modern. The grandmother also made us a lovely traditional meal. But you have to ask in advance. Also you need to pay at the premises and they don't take cards. It was our best stay in Romania!

Comfy room in the house of lovely host Maria and Marius. They cooked us a delicious dinner and even prepared us a packed lunch for our trip back. It is well located and it was easy to communicate in french. Maria showed us how she weave as it is the main work for women in that village. We recommend it :)

Nice place near Borsa in a beautiful forest. It’s peaceful and serene, but I hope it will be cleaner next time. Since I booked late, I understand why it wasn’t perfect.
You should not expect big village with a lot of restaurants...
You should not expect big village with a lot of restaurants and hotels. Ieud is a small village with few very attractive touristic spots. the big advantage of this quite village is the location in Maramures - somewhere in the centre of all area touristic spots, let's say in the middle between Borsa and Sapanta (you can find on the internet this villages).
I would recommend Ieud for the location and quite.
