The place is clean, large and the owner/staff are friendly. Coquette family owned & manged villa. Our room was large and clean, with plenty of amenities. Designed to take you back in time, at least 30 years. Location is great, quiet and really close to the citadel, with a gas station across the street. Parking was free, private and secure.

Deva was a nice city to visit. The attractions I enjoyed most were Giardini di Zoe (very scenic garden), the city centre, the Corvins' Castle in Hundeoara, Sarmizegetusa Ulpia Traiana, the "Prislop" monastery and last but not least, Germisara, where we discovered the roman thermal baths and saw the "Clocota" waterfall.
The best restaurant I got to eat at in Deva was Bord 13.

Deva, it's a lovely town (about 60,000 people) very important for the locals and you can see the locals in their ordinary life. Not much to see; lovely restaurants, a nice small fortress, and friendly people.

Deva bears special significance worldwide, to members of the Unitarian-Universalist Church, as its castle dungeon was the scene of our founder, Francis David's imprisonment and death. Freedom of religion, an idea first proclaimed in Europe at the Diet of Torda in 1568, is associated with his name. His life's work is revered throughout the world. So it was most disappointing that references to his legacy have been removed in today's Deva Castle. The multilingual guide posts convey a generic non-story, totally lacking substance. A visitor is left puzzled whether this occurred by ignorance or by design.

Deva is a beautiful city.
Deva is a beautiful city. We got to see the Deva Airshow which was the highpeak of our stay. It's really easy to get to the citadel by foot from the center town. We didn't stay for a long time so we didn't get to do much but we recommend to visit the citadel at night and the aerodrome.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance (approx. 25 minutes) of shopping centers, malls, downtown, etc.
The Deva Citadel is literally within walking distance.
The Vila is lovely, modern, and has good parking access. Lots of little technological implementation - such as the electronic door keys, and automatic hallway lighting. The bathroom is a nice size. Communication from the Vila staff/management is good and clear.
The city of Deva does not impress if you arrive by train or bus, but the 20 minute walk to the hotel takes you into a very pleasant neighborhood. Very nearby is a vibrant (depending on the time of day) children's park.
Also nearby is the walking path and funicular up to the Deva Citate.
The small hotel is run by an elderly couple who speak little English, but this wasn't really a problem.
The room was clean and spacious.
Breakfast was great, good and suffice, especially the scrambled eggs, as well coffee and tea... In other words great!
The location is in the middle of Deva town and the site seeing are awesom oyu can se the Castle.
The room very clean, as well the sheets, bathroom also clean with lots of towells.
I recommend to everyone that wants to se this town to stay at this particular hotel.
We discovered a great place to stay in Deva, really surprizing! Everything was great, starting with facilities, private parking place, very nice and comfortable apartment with an amazing terrace and a great view to the fortress’ gondola, the hosts are very kind and helped us with a lot of recommendations. Nice running track and football field nearby.
We definetely will come again!!!
This hostel exceeded my expectation, this is as good as it can get within this budget. the location is great, the beds are really comfortable. there are more than enough space to hang out and everything is clean.
Bonus for me is that the owners are really nice and that there was a festival just 3 minutes walk so I got to spend a really great time on my transit in DEVA.

The hotel is well positioned near the exit on the highway towards Bucharest, the rooms are big, comfortable, very clean, with big bathrooms, the personnel is extremely friendly and ready to help, they also offer excellent Chinese and Romanian foods, while the price is rather low for what you can buy for it.
A nice, cozy, very nice designed and furnished inn near Hunedoara and Deva. We booked a 2 rooms apartment and had a pleasant stay enjoying every single moment of peace and silence away from the big cities.
The staff was very attentive to our needs and the food was good and plenty.

We stayed in this hotel after long road, everything was great, the staff were speaking English, we arrived at 10 pm and even had a meal, the restaurant is closing at 11 so even if you arrive late you will be able to order something. The view from restaurant are incredible.

Safe secure parking. Free Wi-fi. The rooms are huge and perfect for a family of four. The bathrooms are great! Our children love this hotel and expect to stay here when we travel through Europe.
