All the crew was very helpful , the breakfasts were excellent in a very nice dining room. One diner we eat in the restaurant and was very delicious. Very recommended.

The location is tastefully decorated and very spacious. All is spotless clean, comfortable and great quality. The garden is beautiful, the surrounding willows give an outwordly feeling of being in a fantastic novel, absolutely beautiful. The staff is very respectful, friendly and helpful.

It is a nice place, with an interesting architecture, lots of swimming pools and water tubes. It connects with Caciulata (you could say they are almost one city and not two).
I would recommend it for thermal water, swimming pools, ferryboat on Olt river.
I wouldn't recommend it for the heavy traffic periods, whidh is wasting some of your time. You have to wake up early, if you want to make sure your day is well spent and you're not staying in traffic.

A cozy small resort in a very beautiful place. To make full use of it (drink mineral water, visit different pools, explore the nature around, etc), you'll definitely need more than a week.
Having a car would help significantly.

Very bad organisation take more than one hour to get the procedure for accommodation ,over one hour I get the key from room, staff from reception bin very rude ignored bin speak with my and in the same time on the phone. I booked accommodation at hotel Cozia and they give me room on hotel Caciulata.Im very disappointed.

We wanted to try out the the thermal baths on the way back...
We wanted to try out the the thermal baths on the way back to Bucharest which was an experience. Unfortunately these thermal baths are always linked to banal hotel chains. So it is better to find a room in the many guesthouses around.
A lot lays around that one main lane and the restaurant we chose didn't have good cuisine. So otherwise it is not a very authentic village.
I was there too short but I think the place is interesting for hiking in nature.

The place its well know for the thermal water sources which are recommended in different affection,unfortunately the area didn't develop much after the revolution.Very limit choices for eating in the area,maybe cos we went out of season.
Best place the eat is Casa Romaneasca.

There are some mountain nature walks which are easy to be done by families (walk to the Lotrisor waterfall).
I really enjoyed the Old Valley in Calimanesti.
The garbage could be collected more often and the mountain paths to be cleaned more
Wonderful little hotel for a breakout in the beautiful area in the valley of the Oat river. The room (with balcony) are nice and clean - with a good bed and everytime warm. Food in the own restaurant is very good - not pricy and the service is very friendly and welcoming. The highlight is the outside thermal heated pool which is ideal to relax over the day and evening. If you need to buy some food or drinks - a supermarket is 3min walk distance away... best place in this town!
Everything was wow! The host was very kind, she helped us find transport to get around Călimănești.
We even made some friends in the time we stayed.
The entire house was clean, every room has a tiny bathroom enough so you can bath when it’s real late but it has normal baths too. It has a kitchen with everything from stove to coffee maker to grill outside so you can cook whatever you want.
Overall a great place to stay, recommend 10 out of 10!
Clean, comfort, feeling like home. Hosts are flexible, they adapted quick to bring in our room a big table as I wotked from there for a few days. They provided helpful suggestions regarding the places to visit around Calimanesti. Communication went very well, wonderful hosts.

We came from Boston on a family trip. This was a great stay in a beautiful region of Romania! Calimanesti is well worth a visit! The Olt river valley is amazing! We stayed at Casa Flori for two nights and experienced the best of Romanian hospitality! Excellent facilities in a beautiful country home that made us feel like family! Beautiful Cozia Mountain views from the kitchen, excellent atmosphere, warm and welcoming hosts!
We absolutely loved the hotel, the breakfast, the play room. Because we have a small kid, we really appreciated the play room being located near the breakfast area. If the child was bored, he could play and we could continue our breakfast while keeping an eye on him. Everything is new and clean, great staff! All in all, a great experience that exceeded our expectations!
The feeling to be with Romanian people was great and much better than to stay in an anonymous hotel on the road. Their hospitality was great. In the morning we've got coffee and cake and there was a nice chat. the lady sent us home with lovely selfmade marmelade. great experience. Everything was super clean.
The pool is very nice. The entrance in the pool can be made directly from the hotel. This is very helpful when the temperature outside is lower. The water comes from a thermal spring and it is really warm and plesant.

The hotel has two separate private parcking areas near hotel (10m away) which could accomodate many cars so you dont have to warry about it. The privat thermal pool is amazing. Host is very friendly
