This place is absolutely amazing! Serene, calm, beautiful and cosy. We were received by the sweetest lady, Candida, who made everything feel very homely and created a gorgeous breakfast each morning. We especially enjoyed the saltwater pool and spectacular view - swimming in the pool one evening under the stars was especially magical. Thanks for creating such a calm place in nature. We will always remember our stay at Flores do Campo!

We chose this property because it looked very nice and on our way to Cádiz by car. We were pleasantly surprised by how rural the route was to the property, it was awesome to experience the slow life and rural experience while in our own country in Portugal, not all that far from home and not requiring catching a plane to be this cosy and peaceful in nature. They have a swimming pool, which we hadn't noticed when we made the reservation, so it was great to be able to arrive, unload and go to the swimming pool, along with the modern advantages we have nowadays, yet being far away from civilization. And the kitchen with dining+living room was awesome, we weren't expecting it to be so big. Plenty of windows and sunlight. We will definitely be back here when we need a complete break from work and the city life.

The house is beautiful...a pleasure to stay there. The host was very helpful even cooked us some lunch when we arrived as no where locally open and would not take any money.
Myself my husband and another couple spent 2 nights there. Both rooms were tastefully furnished, exceptionally clean, the beds really comfortable.
2 little dogs also cute and made our stay more interesting and homely.

Ficalho is a tiny village 5km to the border of Spain. Ficalho can be explored in an hour. There are some few cafes / bars and shops plus a church and a restaurant. It's an ok place for people who want to unwind or explore the surrounding countryside and cities such as Moura, Beja or Rosal de la Fronteira, a small city in Spain just across the border. The countryside is beautiful and there are some castles in the area to visit, for which you need a car. Some enjoyable cycling in the less hilly areas is possible.
