It's an ideal place for an overnight stay whilst taking the Miradouro Train from Porto up and down the Douro Valley. We had a beautiful, spotlessly clean room with a balcony. The young staff were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed some small snacks there with a lovely Douro red wine (of course!) in the afternoon, and a lovely breakfast, with a lot of variety in the morning. The hotel is very convenient for the railway station. A perfect stay, thank you! ❤️

This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a river view room which provided a spectacular view of the Duro. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony The staff was very friendly and helpful Patricia and Rafela made great suggestions for touring Quintas and even made reservations for us at these places. Paulo gave great recommendations for dinner and was very helpful Parking was on the property and free. The breakfast had many choices and tables provided a view of the river We would definitely stay here again

Delfim Douro Hotel was in one word Fantastic, even with a minor incident, what the staff directly and very professional corrected. The moment you walk in, the staff is there. With all the friendly help and the pre-checking was quickly. Everything was in my eyes perfect. We loved also that the hotel helped employees with a handicap, to see the Hotel is not afraid to have employee in a in the wheelchair, who solved our little problem with all the professionalism you can get.
The restaurant was great, good food for a decent price, good variety wine and loved the desert, Florest chocolate, you have to try it. :-)

Exceptional breakfast, wine cellar and spa facilities. Would have been great to have more communal quiet spaces, perhaps a library or smoking room to play board games etc.
