The environment was very comforting and connected with nature! Carole was very attentive to us, and made sure we were settled in perfectly and could enjoy our own privacy. The breakfast was very cozy, and gave us some alone time to enjoy the morning sun!
There was so much to enjoy, but sadly we only stayed one night so we couldn't make use of everything available - we'll be sure to return!

In an overall nice and calm place, very nice park, a song of birds in the city center, close to the river mostly friendly people, but rare to find someone who speaks EN. From bad things: roads and unrespectful drivers, ignoring pedestrian signs and pedestrians.

A central hotel, modern and with a good breakfast. Our room was modern and well appointed. There was a shared space to sit. We arrived by bicycle and were able to store them safely. The town is on the Camino way and you can receive a stamp as part of the record of your journey. The apartment is very central in town with lots of cafes and shops nearby. The towns indoor food market is opposite. We struggled to find a restaurant but took a top tip from a waitress in a local bar.
Very nice budget accommodation in the centre of Vila Franca de Xira with plenty of restaurants and other amenities nearby. Breakfast served from 6AM is a godsend for both the Caminhos de Santiago pilgrims and Randonneur cyclists who have to make an early start. The arrangement with an external private bathroom is a little bit unusual but perfectly acceptable.
Warm, clean rooms (this is not a standard in portuguese hotels, but this one has new windows, so it's really cozy inside)
