An amazing palace full of history. Built in neo-manuelino style inside a lush forest, this palace is one of a kind. The rooms are of course and understandably not comparable with those of a modern 5 star hotel ( the palace is 200+ years old), but you don’t go to Bussaco for this. The hospitality of the owner is on the top level. When you arrive at the Mill, you feel like you arrived in a fairy tale. It feels like you are out of civilization, as it is only the Mill and nothing around you. The photos cannot describe the house, really magical. Every cm of the house is very clean and well maintained. We are a family of 4 and it was more than enough space for us, we didn't even use one of the bedrooms. The sunset views are spectacular. We enjoyed our short stay a lot, we would love to be back there :) thanks to Antonio a lot for the wonderful hospitality and this unique experience!
