Beautifully re-modelled building with excellent facilities. A superb shower, and large comfortable room. Probably the best breakfast that we've had on this whole trip.

The Vila was great. Very clean, several rooms and space for a family of 5 people, great view of the river, quiet place! We really enjoyed! Pedro was amazing!! Once I booked the Vila, he opened WhatsApp communication with me and send me several tips of very nice places and beached around!!! He also advised about close supermarkets, etc. There is Minimarket around but if you are going to use their barbeque (which we did and was one of our best dinners, in the balcony with the river’s view) you need to buy meat/seafood/fish at a big supermarket - pingo doce in vieira do minho (30min from the Vila). Pedro was available all the time and gave several tips also for the next day. If you are coming with a big car Pls follow Pedro instructions re parking.

The breakfast was ok, not a huge selection for the price paid, but considering it is on-site it is understandable. The location is absolutely gorgeous, with the river dam backdrop, and the pool adds a great touch. Also there are some restaurants in the villages nearby, so you can drive less than 10mins and find some good food.
Staff friendly and helpful, the hotel facilities were excellent, breakfast wonderful.
I had difficulty finding Venda Nova because I did not have the coordinates and there are about 14 villages of that name. Eventually got there very late and much relieved that the owners mother was keeping watch for us to show us to our rooms.
The facilities of the hotel were great.
