I liked the location, as was looking precisely for something quiet and isolated. Is a new bulding very pleasant and with modern looking. they have two pools which is also very nice. I liked in particular that the employees/waiters were also very nice, explaining in detail how all worked and willing to help anything on their capacity.

Ronnie welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour around his sustainable kingdom. A haven built into the Portuguese mountainside/jungle. This is as about as a remote a stay you can have whilst still enjoying functioning utilities. The few neighbours who build up the small community are all lovely souls, and it was a pleasure to share time, food, and drink with them. A fine accommodation near the walking route Caminho Historico. The room and shower were spacious and clean. And a there is a nice seating area outside. No breakfast offered, but there are several locations to eat close to the hotel.
