Amazing location just up the hill from Pinhao (centre of the Duro valley).
The place was really well stocked. Even some port for us to enjoy.
Only two of the bedrooms had AC. The beds were a little too firm.
Loved the amazing patio! Dinner on the outdoor table was fantastic! Felt you were right in the middle of the vineyard-which in fact is true as there are vines growing right into the back of the house! Amazing!

Everything! Best location/view in the Douro. We wish we would have eaten dinner at the hotel instead of at Bom Fim (though this was very nice). The views and staff are wonderful. We wish we would have stayed longer. Highly highly recommend!

Luxurious stay with phenomenal views of the Douro River and Valley. Breakfast with fresh fruit, cheeses, meats, yogurt, grains, juices, pastries, bread, coffee, tea was wonderful. The terraces permitted and encouraged relaxing and tranquil lounging. Rooms were clean, generally well-furnished, with spa-like bathrooms. The staff were particularly helpful with our day touring arrangements, making dinner reservations for us in Pinhao.

A nice surprise awaited us at this small hotel. The rooms are pretty basic but the beds are soft and very comfortable. The shower is big and plenty of hot water was available. The swimming pool was an extra bonus. The breakfast was exceptional! The orange juice were from the trees growing beside the hotel and the preserves were homemade. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
