My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal.
Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

This is an amazing town with clear water beaches. You can find restaurants with great fresh fish. Sometimes it can be a bit windy though. It is close to Lisbon so you can do other things if the weather is under.

Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks.
Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.
This is a fantastic property to stay at. Its location is very central to all the restaurants, shops, market and the all important beach is 1 minute walk away. It has a south facing balcony with sea views and all the necessary household items that are needed for a comfortable stay. Our host Colin was super friendly and helpful especially when we had a medical emergency to deal with. Thanks so much for everything. Looking forward to booking again when we return to lovely Sesimbra.
Fabulous apartment finished to a very high standard. The views were priceless during the day and even better all lit up at night. Plenty of cleaning equipment and essentials such as washing up liquid dish washer and washing capsules . Maria was very helpful and at hand at all times. The apartment was immaculately clean , very well presented with beautiful decor and smelt amazing. Sesimbra is a beautiful village and this is a beautiful apartment and we can’t wait to return soon
Perfect location. Spectacular view. Very well equipped for a short OR long stay. Antonio is a very welcoming host, quick to respond to questions, and really cares that guests enjoy the visit. Sesimbra is a magical place, especially in the off-season when the beaches are quieter. We loved hiking to the castle and Arrabida park, wandering the town, very good restaurants, and daily beach walks. Street parking is easy.

the property was ideally located with easy beach access. The beautiful property had wonderful staff, a beautiful infinity pool and a nice spa. Use of the spa and breakfast was included in our stay. our rooms were spacious with gorgeous ocean view balcony. The hotel restaurant had a breakfast with wide selection of foods. There were also good restaurants, cafes and shops in walking distance.
The breakfast was excellent. Huge buffet. The parking was on-site. Hotel did not offer shuttle to town while we were there, but we found that the walk to town was not difficult. The town has many restaurants to chose from and it was pleasant to walk the promenade at night. Sesimbra Castle is near by and it is not far to take the scenic drive through Arrabida.
The location overlooks the sesimbra area so it is quieter than being in the heart of town. Parking can be had on the street, or for a fee in a nearby garage.
Carlos was fantastic. He helped with everything from parking to finding a place to eat and wash clothes, told us the secret way to get to the beach, and acted more like a friend than a landlord
Wonderful location! A short stroll puts you on the beach or one of the many great restaurants in Sesimbra. The appartment was immaculately clean, comfortable sleeping and living areas with a small kitchen and clothes washer. Internet was plenty fast for work. Staff was prompt with e-mail responses making the no contact check-in and out worry free.
Highly recommend these holiday apartments in Sesimbra. Spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful balcony overlooking the bay, where we spent a lot of time in the evenings. Apartment is relatively close to historical center (10-15 minutes though, a little from the mountain/uphill). There was always a place to park the car.
Excellent location with great views overlooking Sesimbra. The views were fantastic. You do need to hire a car to drive down to the beach and local restaurants as you would certainly not be able to walk it. The apartment itself had everything you needed and was very clean.
I simply loved my stay at Casa da Praca! I enjoyed everything: the close location to the beach, the food at the restaurant, etc.

Wow, what a fabulous hotel. The location is unbeatable, with spacious balconies overlooking the beach. The staff are kind and friendly. Bar and food prices are very reasonable and the buffer dinner offers plenty of choice.
The most amazing thing about this hotel is how it preserves the original architecture, details and furniture from Conceição Silva. It's just a shame that the surroundings don't honor such great architecture.
The man at the front desk was incredibly helpful throughout my stay, the bed and decorations were very comfoy. Ample closet space. Close to a couple restaurants and bars, including one in the hotel.
Location, location, location. As it seems to be common for SANA hotels to choose amazing locations for their hotels, I was blown away walking into our room with sea view! Unbelievable!
Room was very nice and very clean. Jade welcomed us very nicely. Area is nice and 5 minutes drive from the centre of Sesimbra. There is plenty parking space at the front.
