My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal.
Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.

This is an amazing town with clear water beaches. You can find restaurants with great fresh fish. Sometimes it can be a bit windy though. It is close to Lisbon so you can do other things if the weather is under.

Excellent in every aspect. Breakfast and dinner beyond expectation. Frontdesk and other personnel very well trained and sympathetic. Worth spending several days there. Fabio, from the lounge and his young team até happy to prepare your favourite drinks.
Outside and very near there is a small restaurant that is specialized in fish food and shells. Also, worth a visit.

Sesimbra is a sympathetic village by the ocean. It is beautifully situated and has golden yellow beaches Virtually no international mass tourism and I like that. In and around the village many good restaurants and a visit to the castle is definitely worthwhile. If you come by car there are plenty of excursion possibilities.
Cozy apartment with great ocean view. The hosts, Carlos and Ana, were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to our needs/requests. The apartment gets alot of natural light and has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room window. Sesimbra's older, historic part has alot of charm. If you walk around the winding streets, you will discover many gems, including beautiful tile murals, the Capela da Misericordia, the old fortress, the old Moorish castle on the hill, and more.
This is a fantastic property to stay at. Its location is very central to all the restaurants, shops, market and the all important beach is 1 minute walk away. It has a south facing balcony with sea views and all the necessary household items that are needed for a comfortable stay. Our host Colin was super friendly and helpful especially when we had a medical emergency to deal with. Thanks so much for everything. Looking forward to booking again when we return to lovely Sesimbra.
Loved this place, it was recommended to me by a friend an did not disappoint. Very boutique, personal and different to any other hotel I'd been to. Great breakfast in the garden, surrounded by banana trees, next to a water fountain. Lovely to sit by the pool and read. Our room felt very private and quiet. Comfortable bed. Great place, would definitely come again

It is a hidden gem just off the road from Sesimbra to the Lagoon. A quiet, peaceful little garden of Eden with views across the bay to sintra. A wonderful find and a highlight of our stay in Portugal. Very close to the lagoon which is excellent for a slightly warmer swim than the ocean. Hosts were incredibly kind and helpful - would come back in a heartbeat.

Don't let the age of the hotel put you off, the decoration may be a little bit dated, but the hotel has everything you could ask for on any new hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is top notch, and the pool is a great asset. And if you are still having second thoughts, I'm sure the balcony with sea view will sell it to you!
Friendly and helpful staff. Our room was fine, the bed was comfortable. We liked our spacious balcony with pool view. Parking our rental car was very easy. If you have a car the hotel is well located for exploring the area around Sesimbra incl. the Serra da Arrabida. There are some restaurants for locals within 5 to 10 min driving.
The hotel is excellent, the room is spacious and modern, the bed is very comfortable. As an added plus we had a view of the ocean from the balcony. The breakfast is excellent, one of the best I've ever had!
And let's not forget the swimming pool, where you can sit and relax just wishing the day would never end!
Nice place to stay for relaxed beach vacation. Great view from the rooms, beach right next to the hotel, spa center inside. Swimming pool with an ocean view is also nice. Sesimbra is a small town, so everything you can potentially need is in the hotel or literally 5-10 min walking.
I simply loved my stay at Casa da Praca! I enjoyed everything: the close location to the beach, the food at the restaurant, etc.

Excellent position. The apartment is very close to Praia da California, and to the town centre of Sesimbra. Even though it is very small, the space is well arranged and it is very clean.
I loved stay at Vila do Sol. It is a little butic hotel with very friendly and warm owner. Best place to relax and enjoy live next to the pool in the quiet spot of Sasimbra village.
