The guesthouse is beautiful with incredible attention to detail in quality furnishings and decor. The hosts, Cristina and Francesco, truly go above and beyond to ensure your stay is flawless and put on an incredible breakfast. The facilities are fantastic- I really enjoyed using the pool. Everything at Casa Malìa was just perfect!

If you want a quieter vacation without lots of people then Luz is great. There were sufficient places to eat good selection and service with a great view. It was an elegant location. We found a restaurant just out of town that was great value and excellent service.

Luz is a lovely old town on the coast now mostly given over to villas and holiday rentals. Nice coastal walks to Lagos.
We didn't love the restaurants, catering too much for the British I would think. Football showing everywhere.

We like the views along from the pagoda along the promenade and the beach and the variety of cafes and restaurants. Both the supermarkets are good and the bus service is reliable for getting both East and West along the coast.
New to us restaurant Urban had excellent food at great prices and friendly staff.

Luz is a very beautiful beach town with really great amenities. The views of the beach and cliffs are really beautiful. The promenade along the seafront is a marble cobblestone walkway with cafes and restaurants. Small market stalls for trinkets. The restaurants in Luz are top quality and my favourites are ZaZu and Latitude. During high season it is good to book.
There are 2 lots of beach concessions with sun beds and umbrellas. We were always on the beach by 9.30 but beds were Normally all taken by 10am.
Luz is a very family resort and very popular.
I wouldn’t recommend Luz to anyone with mobility issues as it is quite hilly.
The Villa was a very nice property indeed. Very spacious. All necessary amenities available. The property was easy to locate and very nicely positioned in a quiet resedential area. It is only a short 15 minute walk to the centre of Praia Da Luz and the lovely beach front area. There are lot's of nice restaurants nearby, suitable for all of our diet choices. We hired a car and this enabled us to make the most of our stay by visiting the surround towns like Burgau and Lagos. We would recommend car hire.
colette from algarve holiday bookings was brilliant and the villa had everything you would want and probably the first villa i've been to where i didnt think i wish it had this or it had that, the accomodation was excellent in a fantastic location, and colette responded almost immediately if you had a question, and next time i'm in luz algarve holiday bookings will be my first choice so thanks.
I don’t know where to start but this was definitely the highlight of our trip to Portugal thanks to the hosts of this beautiful home. Breakfast was delicious, the views from the terrace during sunset were espectacular and going for a swim was great after a day of sightseeing. Thank you Jonas and Thomas, you have a really special place and we can’t wait to be back!
Location was excellent and the view over the ocean superb. The property had all the facilities we could have wanted and more! The pool was perfect for the kids and the pool table ideal for the adults!

Really lovely apartment with attention to detail. Super clean, extra towels left due to long stay. Dishwasher tablets & washing detergent (although I preferred my own). Lovely spacious 1 bed apartmentt, 4 balconies, aircon, large ensuite bathroom. Pool area perfect also. Regular traveller to the area and these apartments in Baia never disappoint.
This is truly on the water. It has everything you would need for an incredible holiday. The little village of Luz is quaint and friendly. It is a three block walk to the center where there are restaurants, shops and two grocery stores. There is a beautiful beach in the town center as well. The coast is simply beautiful with the rocks.
This is the best place we have ever stayed in Luz! The location is perfect for easy access to the beach, restaurants, bars & supermarkets. It is also well kitted out with everything you need for a lovey self-catering holiday. We were also impressed with the local contact who was able to sort out our queries super quickly - thank you.

The hotel is just a few minutes walking from Luz centre and beach, so you can easily go for dinner and come back later walking. The whole area and the hotel is very quiet, perfect for some relaxed time by the pool.
The apartment that I stayed in was very spacious and clean and contained everything I needed. The apartment was very clean, bathroom & kitchen are fine, 3 beds and a nice sunny balcony. The location is amazing, only a 3 minute walk to the beach and the staff is very friendly. Nice budget option for a perfect stay in Luz.

Very friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, very spacious room with balcony, aircon and a heater, comfortable bed, fast WiFi, spacious bathroom, nice gardens with pool, free parking just in front of the hotel, great location not far from the beach. Luz is a sweet little village!
Thomas and Jonas have created a beautiful, eclectic oasis in Luz. The rooms are very colourful with lot's of art, there is a great pool area and a wonderful palm tree garden and pond. Breakfast was superb and the hosts provided me with many great recommendations in the area and made me feel at home.

A lovely relaxing holiday, from the pool area you could see the well manicured gardens. If you need anything to eat or drink while sunbathing you could simply ring the hotel and the would bring it down to you. The breakfast was delicious.
Best hotel I have stayed at in Portugal! Great room, balcón with sea view and ample breakfast at a really affordable price. The beach was beautiful, terrific restaurant and bars by the sea nearby and it's the cleanest place in Portugal.
