I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming small hotel, and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way, offering exceptional value for money.
From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and efficient. I had remotely checked in through a link they sent via email, which allowed me to complete my details remotely. Upon arrival, the receptionist swiftly verified my identity and provided me with my room key, as well as the main entrance and WIFI entry codes. I spent about 2 minutes there.
The amenities at this hotel are outstanding. The common room is a delightful space, featuring a snooker table and a world-class entertainment system. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day. Additionally, the open-air terrace is cosy and inviting, offering a great spot to relax and enjoy the fresh air. For those who like to stay active, the gym is adequately equipped, ensuring you can maintain your fitness routine during your stay.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. To be fair to them, there was very little difference between the breakfast here and those served in more expensive hotels. It had everything needed to fill a hungry stomach and start the day right. The variety offered was impressive, and I must give special mention to their coffee machine, which provided numerous varieties to choose from, catering to all tastes.
The room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a busy day.
Despite having read some negative reviews prior to my reservation, my personal experience was entirely positive. I found those reviews to be rather misleading and unappreciative of the efforts the hotel staff have clearly put in to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests. Hopefully, my fair review will help someone get a true impression.
I love the full size mirrors in the rooms, it will be nice if they can replicate such in their gym.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
Location, location, location. Family friendly hostess at our hotel....I could see bringing my grand children there as kids were welcomed.
Nearby restaurant was excellent (there is one other within an easy walk which we didn't try as the one across the street was excellent), but for variety requires a drive. Less than 10K south there are many restaurants on the beach. We chose Magna Carta which had Luis an excellent sommelier and quite good food. He introduced me to wine I had never had, Arinto, which was outstanding.

Great little low key resort town between sea and pine forest, feels very natural and untouched by tourism. Lots of local tourists, but no noisy discos or garish shops. Beautiful beaches, powerful Atlantic waves, probably no swimming as such, play in the surf instead, so not good for small children.

It is a small town out of the way and not as popular as other major locations however it is perfect for a tranquil holiday or get away. For us it had everything: Great water views as well as forested areas where one can go for a stroll or hike. The Estrela do Mar restaurant was an pleasant find with exceptional food and great service.

São Pedro de Moel is a very small seaside village.
São Pedro de Moel is a very small seaside village. As it was out of season (early April) it was very very quiet. I am sure it livens up in summer as it had a nice beach. There are only 2 restaurants and a bar and one of them was closed as it was a Monday.

Super charming hostel type lodging. It's not a brand new fancy hotel but a more family friendly, beachy vibes place placed right on top of the beach. The rooms are cleaned and spacious, the breakfast is amazing and it has a great children room for kids to play. outside space to have a coffee or just read book or play a game - which they have! Great place to spend a summer week!
special kudos to Ines who is super attentive and nice!
The space: the room, the common areas and the restaurant were all spacious, I felt comfortable and at ease everywhere. The breakfast was fantastic, both in quality and quantity. The feeling of modernity of the hotel although its decade-old history. The location is perfect (and beautiful) for walks by the sea and into the village (and the lighthouse).
Water view was phenomenal! Room was spacious with a balcony facing the water. Breakfast was very good with both hot and cold options. They had both hotel style coffee as well as the traditional Portuguese espresso coffee selections. If you want a quiet getaway with lovely views and lots of rest this place is perfect.
The interior of the hotel was in excellent condition and nicely decorated. The bedroom, although on the small size was clean and comfortably furnished. A good comprehensive self-service continental breakfast was included in the price. Street parking was easy in the quiet street directly outside the hotel.
This was by far one of the best stays I ever had on my vacation travel. The hotel is very fresh and has been beautifully remodeled. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was top class. We loved every bit of stay here and Igor has been extremely helpful.
The price is right for the quality and everything is exactly as it looks.
This is a typical-typical seaside budget hotel for beach lovers to stay in the summer season. At other times there is nothing going on, so it is very quiet.
Clean.
we adored this most relaxed and lovely hotel on this midcoast town; lovely breakfast with made to order eggs & an “honesty bar” available 24/7; bikes & surfboards available to check out and the loveliest outdoor tub in our room
Lovely little hotel, short walk down the hill to the beach. Cute restaurant downstairs where we ate twice. Food very good and reasonably priced.
We had the attic room which had a fabulous huge balcony looking out to sea.
A beautiful small beach hotel. Really comfortable and stylish rooms. An exceptional breakfast and really friendly service. Sao Pedro de Moel is a quaint seaside town with stunning beaches surrounding it.
We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast with a great choice of food. The view over the sea was better than we had expected.
It was also great to have a place to park right outside the hotel.
