Great view from the room to the vineyards and the valley. It immerses you in tranquillity and nature. The staff was friendly and the pool area was nice.

The staff/owners were wonderful and so friendly and the housekeeping was excellent. The property is ready to find and just outside the town which is nice.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The place has the most amazing view for all the vineyards, very peaceful even though is quite close to the main road. Is a place rich in history and full of places to rest (either by the pool or right next to the fireplace). Definitely recommend this place.

When we arrived, we were met by the hostess of the quinta, Helena. She walked us through the main floor entrance area, explaining the history of the building with pride. I almost cried as I walked around: it was breathtaking! We could feel the love of Helena & Ricardo everywhere within their home. Such attention to detail, and the details were plentiful! Everywhere you turned, there was something that caught our eyes. As we had arrived late in the day, we were exhausted and starving. We asked if it was possible to get something to eat. The most beautiful charcuterie board was made up for us, and an outstanding wine was recommended by their charming & humourous sommelier/maitre d'/server, Johan! The wine was so great that we took a 2nd bottle up to our room for a nightcap. Our room was beautiful & comfortable, complete with a terrace outside that led to the infinity pool. The pool overlooked the valley, adding another level of beauty to our stay. The breakfasts were varied, fresh and plentiful! Such a great selection, from amazing fresh breads, farm fresh yogourt, eggs done to your liking, artisanal cheeses, homemade granola, beautiful fresh fruit, incredible fresh orange juice...I could go on and on and on.....!!!!! The property is vast: we took a long walk up the paths & terraces to new heights overlooking their little piece of heaven. The views all around were so incredibly peaceful & beautiful! This was the last stop on our journey through Portugal and definitely our favourite! Sometimes you meet people on your journey who you just connect with. Helena & Ricardo are 2 of those special people to us, becoming instant friends. They are truly the heart & soul of Quinta de Travassinhos.

Had a wonderful stay here for 3 nights with my husband and daughter. Room was ready with a cot on arrival, João and his mum Antonieta were so accommodating, nothing was too much hassle and they were always so friendly especially with our daughter 😊 the rest of the staff were also very friendly! We will be coming back in the future! The views and the peacefullness are definitely what makes this place so special. Toddy the cocker spaniel was also a favourite for me ❤️ Thanks again 😄

The town is very small, so I wasn't expecting much. The location is good, central. I had an event at a winery that was relatively close.

The whole place was amazing!! They have peacocks that walk around you. The whole area is so beautiful and the staff is outstanding!
