Lovely stay in Hotel Praia Sol. Our room was ready at 12pm, well before the 3pm check-in time. Our beds were made and towels replaced everyday even though we were only there for 3 nights. Pool area is fabulous and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely lunch and drinks available to be brought out the pool area also. The hotel also allowed us to spend the day at the pool on the day of checkout and held our luggage for us.

Nice balance between peaceful/quiet and lively with easy access to the nearby places (Vilamoura, Albuifera, Amacqo de Pera, Portimao, Lagos, Faro etc). It is an easy town to get around on foot and it has good access outside the town by car. It was "home base" for us with day trips to other towns along the Algarve coast.

It felt like a chilled relaxed area, a lovely promenade to walk along, plenty of restaurants to choose from. This was my first solo trip and I felt very safe, I would definitely come back here and do some of the activities on offer. I took the bus to and from Faro airport which was all very straight forward thanks to google maps!

There is huge selection of restaurants and bars to choose. Generally the quality is very good and cleanliness is good.
Fish restaurants near the port are really good.
If you like cooking there is the fish and veg markets, you can buy fresh fish daily as it is a working fishing port, also there is a large open air produce market about 500m from the port every Wednesday with many stalls.
The old town has more character and little bars and cafes where you can get a better feel of portugues culture. Venture into the side streets.

Lovely coffee and cake shops. Shopping ok but out of season so some shops closed. Beach wonderful Good transport by bus and free circular bus to gypsy market and Vilamoura Went to Family Bistro many times. Rita’s shop is great for good Portuguese shoes
Clean and lovely Apartment, Air-con worked extremely well !! 10 min walk to Quarteira beach. Good, quiet location but you will need to hire a car to get about but it is well situated for lots of lovely places. Rooftop pool was lovely but probably not best with young kids as the residents do moan at you about being quiet and no splashing etc. Had difficulty contacting Owner when we first arrived but once I had the correct contact number all was good. Loved our stay and the Country
The staff are all very friendly and super helpful. There wasn't one member of staff that made you feel anything other than important. They were all kind, helpful and friendly, I don't think I've ever met such a lovely staff anywhere else.
The hotel is immaculately clean, fresh and bright, rooms are practical and the showers are amazing. The maids do a fabulous job and made you feel cared for. Breakfast has a wide choice of breads, fruit, meats, eggs, cheese.and pastries.
Such a lovely apart-hotel right on the beach in Quarteria, couldn't ask for a better spot! Had a beautiful sea-side view with a lovely spacious balcony to enjoy.
Great food and drinks around, lovely and helpful hosts, will definitely stay here again next time!
Apartment had great facilities to do your own cooking, all utensils/fridge/freezer/cooker/pots/pans etc - incredibly useful for when you don't want to eat out every meal.
Our family loved staying here, the host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Waking up with an amazing beach view every day was great. The flat itself was well-equipped and great for a family of four. The location is also pretty good, you are in the "middle" of Algarve so you can easily drive to Lagos, Quarteira or Olhão. And you have great restaurants, supermarkets, and playgrounds within walking distance close by.
Miguel responded to emails quickly, organised airport transfers and met us for a late (9pm) check-in. Nice, quiet, family-friendly apartment with a balcony about 20minutes walk to the beach. Supermarkets nearby. The pool was clean. The free Wi-fi was good. There is a small bar and ice creams are available. there is a free bus that runs close to Solgarve into Quarteira and Vilamoura one way and to Lidl the other.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming and helpful for information always had big smiles everytime I was leaving or coming back to hotel. rooms were cleaned to a high standard daily. so close to the beaches and marina and not far from the airport. recommend using Uber for a taxi as it’s cheaper. breakfast was basic but everything you needed, didn’t use the pool area but looked clean and relaxing.

Walking distance to Quarteira promenade and the marina. Close to supermarkets, restaurants and fish market. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi. Built-in cabinets for extra storage. Extra linens and towels in the unit.
Spacious, good location for day trips to many of the Algarve attractions and Seville Spain. Host was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Walking distance to caffès, bars, restaurants, and the beach. Garage parking available. Plenty of room for 4 adults, and there are 2 folding beds to accommodate toddlers.
I had 2 of the apartments stayed there for a week from 23rd of may till 29th the two apartments were nice and clean and tidy it had all the facilities you needed close to the beach shops and restaurants the owner was very helpful couldn't fault the appointment I would stay there again when I go back to portugal
very central location, I had a sea view from the studio apartment balcony which was really nice. The apartment block is right by the sea front/promenade. I also took a nice walk along the sea front from the apartment to vilamoura marina which didn’t take long at all. it’s a must to watch the sunset on the beach!
Location , excellent,right beside beech and surrounded by restaurants, Jorge was a gentleman very helpful , about anything I asked including recommendations for best restaurants, the room was perfect for me clean + tidy , also the lady cleaner did an excellent job daily , would strongly recommend this hotel.
The location was very good. Right on the beach. View of the ocean from the balcony. I could hear the waves even with the windows closed. Walking distance to several good restaurants shops, and grocery stores. Well equipped. The building had an elevator.
The location is great for those who want to be close to the beach. In less than 5 minutes by foot you're on the beach. That's the big plus of the hotel. There are also many restaurants and shops at the corner.

Quaint Bed and Breakfast walking distance to the town of Quarteira. It was exactly what we needed for the night. The owners were lovely and accommodating. The house is beautiful with a pool in the back.
