At the start it seemed a good/nich hotel. However,over the week some of its queries became obvious. The main one for us was that when we had a query about the bill there were only 2 very young people at reception.We asked for a manager (midday Saturday) but was told that there was no manager until Monday. Have you ever been to a hotel where all the managers do not work during the weekend. I found it amazing and unbelievable. There were loads of other things, such as no one seemed to check whether the breakfast ingredients need replenishing, etc etc

Pools both external and internal were clean and well maintained, but probably I had an allergy to one of the chemicals used to keep it clean, so reduced stay at certain moment.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The pool area had a nice mix of sun and shade. Wifi was available throughout the hotel. The closet space in the regular rooms was very generous.

There are so many choices for dining all within walking...
There are so many choices for dining all within walking distance. A bus stop for a couple of local bus routes is just steps away. Venture up the side streets away from the harbor for some hole in the wall eateries and interesting shops. It is a very safe place to vacation. Mercado do Peixe has excellent seafood and desserts. There's even an Irish pub, Ned Kelly's if you prefer your beer on the dark side! Renting bikes to enjoy the bikeway along the water is a great idea! Be aware that the bikepath ends at a few spots and you need to share the narrow roads with cars. Well worth it to be able to explore more. A rental car or jeep tours are essential to see everything on the island.
Next time, I would plan more time in the Furnas area, so much natural beauty wherever you look.

It was my third time and I always had a great time. People are lovely, it is easy to walk to places. There are plenty of activities you can do on the island, which you can access from Ponta Delgada. I love the vibe and will definitely come back again.

Out dated, many poor restaurants barely qualifying as Portuguese in nature. A lot of restaurants provided poor cooing skills ( i am a retired Executive chef of 40+ YEARS) Corrupt ATM machines, just like all over the EU, Tourist predators. Car rentals very cheap, however they don't recognize 3rd and 4th party Insurance...you damage your car you pay for all damages on the spot! Stores boring, very few pastry shops..only saw one. I was like going back 50 years in time

A very nice city with very friendly locals. I enjoyed every bit of the city. It was easy to plan an easy city hike in a day to see all the good spots. I would however recommend visiting outside of the peak season of tourists just to have a more relaxed experience of the city without the crowd and the spike in prices. and also, they mean it when they say it's a city where you experience all 4 seasons in a day XD

Very relaxed, chilly vibe. Weather changes quickly with fresh blowing air and quite good prices in restaurants. The one and only minus is for transport which is cheap but not very frequent and reliable, ideally rent some kind of vehicle.
We really liked everything, we were in the Azores for the first time and were worried that the accommodation might not meet expectations, but in reality everything was even better! Many thanks to the owner of the hotel, he is very friendly and will answer any question. Separately, it should be noted what a well-groomed area around the house, perfectly trimmed lawn, beautiful palm trees. We had the same breakfast every day, but it was enough to eat in the morning and take a snack for a walk. We are very satisfied with the comfort and price.
I had an accommodation in Canadiano Urban Nature hotel in period between September 3 and September 11, 2023.
Everything was extraordinary and great: locaton, accomodation, food, personnel. Specially, I need to say big thank you to Maria Rodrigues, front office. If you are in some kind of dilemma and unknowledge, she is the person on which you can rely in every situation. She made my time on Azores unforgettable and beautiful.

This was the best stay on Sao Miguel! We stayed for two different occasions and can highly recommend it. Marcos and his wife made this an amazing experience. The house is wonderful, very unique and super clean (it already smells like wellness coming in) and right in the centre of Ponta Delgada. You can also rent out bikes and Marcos was so positive and helpful at all times and shared great recommendations with us. Thank you so much :)
I am used to travel a lot, but first time in my life, I found fantastic hotel with best ever stuff. If I want to have early check-in - no problem. I wanted order taxi, unexpectable parking place or any advice about Ponta Delgada - no problem. Free water, lemonade etc. Fantastic pool at the top and bar. Everything was amazing. Best regards for reception workers and room service which bring me tasty cookies every day :-)
RoofTop apartments are located in a very nice area of Ponta Delgada. The location is very convenient both for exploring the city and for mastering the rest of the island.
The view from the apartments is very beautiful. In the evenings, after a meaningful day on the island of Sao Miguel, you can enjoy the landing of planes at Ponta Delgada airport.
A nice bonus is the parking space in the backyard of the house.
This hotel was perfect! The location is great- just a few minutes from the city center with lots of restaurants, shopping, and tourist sites. The staff was very helpful scheduling taxis and recommending where to eat and shop. The room was clean and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. All for a great price! Would definitely stay here again for a safe and comfy stay in Ponta Delgada!
A wonderful place to stay that is an easy walk to downtown Ponta Delgada. It has beautiful views of the ocean, a lovely pool to relax in if you’d like, and plenty of space to make your own during your visit. It is also near a lot of great beaches and sea-side dining. If you rent a car like we did there is free parking a minute away. Highly recommend.

Hotel is Ponta Delgada center. Room was quiet and spacious, overlooking inner yard with pool. Beds a bit hard (as in any place we visited in Portugal). Nice hotel lobby interior, good breakfast. Everything is very close and accessible on foot. Helpful receptionist in the lobby.
The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel is gorgeous and a perfect place to end our trip to Sao Miguel. The restaurant, bar and facilities are incredible. The wine and cheese tasting in the lobby bar is excellent. Would come back!
Pedro and his dog Trincas were highlights of our visit to Sao Miguel, and the breakfasts were the best we had during our 2 week Azores trip. The room was comfortable and cool, and Pedro's custom maps were so helpful as we explored the island!

Best place I’ve stayed in for budget tier hotels. The staff and owner were incredibly friendly and attentive. We couldn’t make it to breakfast due to our flight time and they offered to start early and gave us a to go bag.
Great view of the beach, easy access too. Hotel also provided beach towels!

Only 15 minutes by taxi to the airport was a bonus...
