The location was perfect for us. We have a caravan 15 minutes drive away but it was too hot during the extreme heat wave, so we needed somewhere nearby cooler. No Aircon but big fan and great windows you can leave open at night with mosquito net & shutters to keep it cool during the daytime.
The outside space was nice to sit out. It was peaceful and close to a shop & restaurants. Had Washing machine, coffee machine, but you would need a car.

It is lovely, with a fully functioning bathroom and kitchenette and the bed is comfortable. Everything was clean and you get to listen to the birds and see the trees the whole time. It's easy to find with GPS so not fully isolated in the woods, but in a very quiet area.

I could tell that evey part of my experience had been given some care and attention.
The placement of items within the apartment, the space, the decor. I can fault it in no way at all.

Great property if you travel with kids. You have the house for yourself and all the amenities you need. Unfortunately we stayed for one night only :-) We will be back for more, it's a great place to stay and explore the area around.
The lady was super nice and welcoming.
What a find. Out in the middle of nowhere, it was great. Great hotel, good parking. However, in the middle of nowhere, so you have to eat in hotel. We got there at 1730 to be told we cannot eat there as no room in restaurant. With some persuasion, the 'head of catering' got us in, so we could eat. Book a table in advance or don't go. Room was fabulous as was the swimming pool with incredible views. We would definitely go again as long as we can book a table. Next time we will stay longer, it's that good.
The hotel is beautifully located on top of a hill looking over a reservoir, and (except for the cheaper rooms) there are excellent views from anywhere. The swimming pool is excellent and long enough (15 m) so you can actually swim, not just bath. Very pleasant place. Besides, there is a spa. Not the best I've seen, but anyway a plus.
The staff were wonderful. The restaurant staff were very professional and attentive. The restaurant served excellent food and the breakfast was really good with lots of choice, full marks for the scrambled eggs!
The location of the hotel is superb for exploring the whole area.
The view from the bar is wonderful, I didn't use the pools but the looked great, the staff were excelent, I have already recomended this hotel to a couple on the ferry home, and I would like to go back for a long weekend with my wife.
Fantastic location, the views were incredible. We had a junior suite with a superior panoramic view. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful gardens. Good breakfasts, everything was fresh, despite the hotel being nearly empty at winter time.
