The first part of the house is tipical portugal, also cold and pretty. Host family is lovely and helpful. The house is located in a tipical countryside surrounded by pine-trees. Also there is essential food (rice, pasta, onions, spices, oil and vinegar).

Getting around Pataias was rather easy because we had a car.
Getting around Pataias was rather easy because we had a car. We ate at two local restaurants and had some very good Portuguese food. The location was perfect and attractions in the area were easy to get to. overall, we had an excellent stay in Pataias.

Nice and well located portuguese town smacked at the central area of the country. Easy access to the beach, to Marinha Grande, Leiria, Batalha, Nazare and Caldas da Rainha. So more than Pataias itself, if you have a car, you are all set for a great tour of the area. Beach, town and country within 50 miles is a plus.
