The view of the River Targus, the size and style of the room, and the delicious breakfast on the terrace. Also that it was the Countess of Brazil's former residence!

The apartment is beautiful. Lovely water views, great facilities, and location close to beaches, transport, and restaurants. There are so many windows to see the view and let in the sea air (there is no air con). Very modern furnishings and finishes.
We stayed 2 weeks and still did not manage to sample all the restaurants.
It is easy to get to Lisbon by train(20 mins) and taxi. Cascais is also accessible by train.
The managers were very responsive and helpful when we discovered an issue with a wardrobe door.

Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport...
Paco de Arcos was a short 20 minute ride from the airport and just outside the city center. It is a quaint town, quiet and had great restaurants, lovely people and easy access to both train transit and beaches. You can walk all the way to Lisbon along the waterfront with many beaches and landmarks. We did a day trip to Cascais via the train and were completely at ease for our entire stay. Our best outing was a day trip to visit many of the Knight's Templar historical sites with a local guide who was a history buff and shared much of his knowledge with us.

Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city...
Paço de Arcos is the perfect midpoint between Lisbon city and the coastline beaches that stretch eastwards to Cascais. Recommended if you want to retreat to be somewhere a little quieter that is walking distance to a variety of beaches.
It's very easy to get to/from Paço de Arcos with the train from Cais do Sodre, although check the timetable as the trains run every 15-20 minutes.
O Pastus restaurant in the Paço de Arcos Garden is excellent for modern a modern presentation of Portuguese seafood dishes, with great cocktails as well.

The apartment itself was very good with everything you need...
The apartment itself was very good with everything you need for a longer stay and a beautiful view on the ocean. The surroundings are also very good with a lot of restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and the train station nearby. The soul
of this all is Frederico, our very friendly host, who was there to give us a warm welcome with a lot of advises about where to park the car for free, the way to the train station and interesting places to visit. He was all the time available for questions and tips and at the end he was also there to wish us a good journey back home. It couldn't be better.
Really good location.5 min walk to the metro and 20 mins to either Lisbon Old Town or to Cascais. There is a beach nearby and a grocery. Cafes and restos also abound. Victoria is such a nice host and the apartment was complete and very comfy. It had everything you need to make a weeklong stay feel you are at home! She provided advice on where to go and things to do in the area.
The apartement is cozy and perfectly equipped. Owner is really kind. Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances. Everything is clean and ready for pleasant stay. It's located in a calm district near park. It's close to the beach, to the train, to the groceries. Everything is close. We will be happy to return. We don't have to look for anything else.
