Ideal for exploring southern Alentjo . Felt very safe, friendly locals, cafe, bars, etc, reasonably priced, Good roads,, little traffic. Shortage of places to eat a decent meal, with one very notable exception. More on this in a separate review.
Catarina is a natural host who understands the true concept of hospitality. The rooms are artistic and beautifully restored. A very special place indeed. (If you are looking for a standard five star hotel with standard operating procedures this place is NOT for you. If you are looking for an authentic hidden gem, this is DEFINITELY for you.)
