A new comfortable hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. The room was the last one and it was in the back of the hotel, so not much of a view but very quiet and nice. Near the beach and restaurants. Organized parking place.

Evening meal was not up to a standard expected. The Restaurant on the top floor was closed. Unfortunately there was a maintenance issue in the foyer/lounge of hotel when we stayed, which probably affected the catering services that were available.

It was not difficult to get around Malveira da Serra w/o a vehicle. We were able use buses, the local train and the odd taxi/uber ride to economically and efficiently move around the Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra regions. There were also several restaurants - reasonable and good w/in walking distance of Sunny Soul. We particularly enjoyed Estrela da Serra for its entrees, soups, desserts and service!!
