The location was ameizing, and the terrace has a nice view to the ocean. The facility is equipped with everything that you need, even fruit and food was provided. The landlady was extremely nice and helpful. The parking place in the immediate vicinity was an added value.

Absolutely fantastic location in the Parque Terra Nostra. As guests of the hotel you have access to the park and the thermal pool 24/7. Whilst it doesn't look very inviting, the thermal pool is a must/highlight. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The buffet breakfast was very good. We did not use the Spa or indoor pool so cannot comment. Parking is available at the front of the hotel (make sure you drive through the first barrier you arrive at). Is it expensive to stay here - yes! Is it worth it - definitely! Our favourite hotel during our trip to San Miguel. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house in the fantastic Furnas! It's a very traditional house with a soul and very tranquile athmosphere. It is situated very close to Pocas da d.Beija hot springs - which is my favorite place in Furnas.
We had very nice time there and already dreaming to come back one day!

Everything ! This place is perfect and has everything you need. Well equipped (even a wash machine which is really nice when you are visiting the islands for 2 weeks like us!) and also well located (parque terra nostra is just next to the building !). Casa da Praia dos Moinhos is a unique house right by the ocean, a hundred meters from the beach, located in a very peaceful and quiet town. It is beautifully and very thoughtfully furnished. It has a wonderful common area, which consists of a living room, an open kitchen with a dining room, an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue and three terraces, including one with a view of the ocean. The outdoor area is separated from the neighbors and provides complete privacy. The kitchen, with a peninsula equipped with all the necessary appliances and dishes, encourages cooking. We spent very nice moments there. The bedrooms, of which there are five, are very comfortable, all equipped with air conditioning and comfortable beds and spacious wardrobes. The house can comfortably accommodate 10 people. Near the house there is a restaurant serving delicious fish and seafood, there is also a bar by the beach where you can eat very good pizza and burgers and drink delicious coffee. Ines, thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us. Thanks to this, our vacation in Sao Miguel was even more special.

We wanted to buy a house there we loved it so much. It has access to a nice little beach, which is rare, most of the island has cliffs. The village is small but beautiful, the people are friendly and we immediately felt at home. There are many things to go see and do, in every direction.

Maia is a small and quiet city - unless we missed something there is more of less nothing to see in the city except a small spot to swim and very local shops.
Definitely not the highlight of our travel in the Azores but a very nice and quiet place to stay.
