Sometimes you have to travel to holiday destinations for a reason other that vacations. This was our case. I was looking for a hotel close to the CHAMPALIMAUD FOUNDATION hospital. It's just 7 min drive from there. The hotel is in a quiet place on top of the hill.

I liked the included breakfast, however, at an Ibis in Prague, the breakfast spread was larger and had more variety.
Located a 10-minute walk from the iconic Marques de Pombal Square and its metro station, the 4-star Lux Lisboa Park features a modern façade and a 24-hour reception.

Lovely quiet (5 pane glazing) and modern room with very comfy bed and in-room safe. If you want to keep your hair dry in the shower, take a shower cap - it's a rainshower or the handheld, and the latter is so powerful that water goes up as well as down.
Pleasant breakfast with several choices and great sightseeing/restaurant/cafe/bar recommendations from the concierge. The staff were all lovely. Free return airport transfers as we stayed more than 3 nights. Lovely comfortable roof terrace with good cocktails, tasty sangria and decent food - the club sandwich was very enjoyable and comes with fries.
Quiet location and several good restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

Property was a perfect location for a big group with multiple options to stay in. Our group had people occupying the dorms and private room.

Like the locations, the pool, the facilities, free parking and car charging, the VIEWS. It just needs some upkeep, and more staff to keep it running well. The current reception staff are VERY good, but that cannot be everywhere. We had a maintenance issue occur on our room, Sink faucet handle broke off)but it was so late, it couldn't be fixed until the morning (we were only staying ONE night. so we had to use the kitchen sink (Thank GOD we had that!🙏🏻) We also cannot understand why they let the BEAUTIFUL breakfast buffet serve the hot foods COLD> There is NO attempt to keep the chaffing dishes warmed. No water, not stereo or other source of heat. Breakfast opens at 7:00. We are always there between 7 and 7:10. But our eggs are ALWAYS COLD! They offered to make us an omelet, but that requires more work than simply lighting a stereo can beneath a bath of water in the chaffing dishes?! I will still choose to stay here, as we must come weekly, and its location and ease of parking, wifi, and STAFF are wonderful. It is always CLEAN, and a good bargain. Lovely pool area too.

I found the area very hilly and not too much to do really around where I stayed, I only used this as a base while I was here for an event so that was fine for me but I would have found it a bit different if I was there without something else I had planned.
