Excellent location for us to explore East Algarve. Larger than normal room size with very comfortable superking beds. Dolce Gusto coffee machine with complimentary cannisters. Very full breakfast with wide choice of options. Excellent value offering. Recommended.

One of the most special places we have stayed; the location, resort/retreat, staff, facilities, and food were above expectation. This is a wonderful hotel. It's so clean and the staff are amazing. The breakfast is good if a little repetitive. We could walk to restaurants,bars and the supermarket in a few minutes. We enjoyed the plunge pool and roof terrace. The beds were comfortable and we made good use of the balcony

For Tavira, it is a good accomodation located in premium location. Everything in the room was solid, in good functioning order. For a vacationer, it is missing the charm. It is practical, clean, but it is like a dormitory, accomplishing its task. The rooftop terrace added what the rooms were missing. The breakfast was a huge bonus, a good coffee and perfect atmosphere music. Food was decent and more than enough. This way we discovered the restaurant and the food quality it offered for lunch and dinner. One of the most recommended in the area. Altogether we would highly recommend Mares Residence.
