The house was spacious & very clean. The gardens & pool were lovely, with lots of seating options and local birds about. The pool was clean. The kitchen had adequate facilities. The nearest shop is about 6km.

The drive up to Casa de David in Monsanto's old town was kind of difficult. But once we arrived we could find a parking spot near the accommodation.
The room we stayed in was adequate for 3 adults.

I stayed in the hotel for 1 week due to working in the area for that time. The beds were comfortable, the staff helpful and the breakfast was decent. We tried also the hotel swimming pool which was sufficient, however, it seemed that they clean it only once a week. Plus points also that the hotel is pet-friendly (I did not have a pet with me, but it was good to know).
The location of the Hotel was just ideal as it is the entrance to the village and the staff were very welcoming.
Went for a lovely swim in the pool which was of a very decent size.
The breakfast was one of the best I have experienced for a very long time and that is no exaggeration.st
