Incredible location right in the medieval center! Beautiful old building facade with modern cool design behind. The design theme really threads through the hotel, with rooms named with art forms rather than numbers.
Our room (“Cenographia”) was quite large, and had a big roof terrace overlooking the river and the mountain across in Spain; absolute joy for morning coffee.
We had half board, and the food, wine and service in the restaurant was absolutely excellent.
We loved the spa and warm pool facility; it was the perfect therapy after a long day on the Camino Portuguese da Costa. A very comfortable stay overall; great bed, lovely place.
