Fantastic location to stop after riding along N222 the Duoro valley. The swimming pool was very welcoming after a long day riding and our host Margarida prepared us all a fantastic evening meal and drinks.

Nice comfortable ground floor apartment, though a little dark being a converted garage. The shower could do with a bit of "finishing off" but worked fine with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave,gas hob and oven, would benefit from having a kettle. Overall a nice place .
Boasting a garden, an outdoor pool and garden views, Desafios da Horta is set in Souto da Velha. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay.

The pool was splendid, the house was very clean and tidy. The location was perfect for a calm vacation, with a privileged view of the night sky.
The place, its location and views are fabulous. Manuela went out of her way to welcome us and once again, we felt like home in our Douro valley trip. Also our dog Luna felt super relaxed in this place. We had morning rural walks with the view of Freixo de Espada a Cinta village and they enjoyed great breakfast Manuela prepared for us. Couldn't have asked for a better ending of our Douro trip.
This is a brand new hotel in a wonderful area in the north of Portugal. The premises were very comfortable and clean and the location was perfect, with a lovely view to the village.

Stayed here again 2 weeks after my previous stay/review - as it was colder this time all the neighbourhood dogs were indoors overnight so there was zero barking noise in the night.

It was a perfect, brand new hotel with very nice staff. The breakfast was also very nice. Also I recommend the restaurant for dinner, good food for a reasonable price.
