Ricardo met us at the front door on the sidewalk and gave us a thorough tour of everything. There were little things, like TV channels, screaming fast internet, a nice book collection, that were a pleasant surprise. The people in Espinho are some of the nicest people we have met. The Monday market which is only a few blocks away is simply Epic! We read that it is the largest street market in Portugal and has been going for over 120 years. It was huge.

I was so happy with my stay at this hotel. My room and other facilities were very clean, comfortable, well decorated, and it was the best hotel experience I've had. It's not a five star luxurious resort, but it's definitely a place I would love to continue staying in if I could
Espinho is small & quiet. Option for beach walks or public transport into Porto. Good shops close to the beach, need to look for restaurants that can be tucked away.

Espinho is a great City but there needs to be an upgrade of abandoned properties which ruins the overall good feeling of the City. Location is great for going to Porto, Santa Maria De Feira or Carcavelos.

A small coastal town with a pretty well known Casino. Very much experiencing gentrification, but it still retains its local charm and culture. Plenty of restaurants to suit both high and low budgets, and above all, a place with a stunning sunset.

Great location with a wonderful beach and good views out to sea. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Good range of quality restaurants and bars. Great for walking along the promenade and / or beach morning or evening, I especially enjoyed the quiet and peace in the mornings before breakfast. If you like to hear waves on the shore you will relish this location.

I wouldn't call it a right place for tourist.The only decent thing there is a beach. However we were missing normal amenities you would expect to find on proper beach like toilets and changing cabins,e.c.
The city itself has not much to offer apart from few nice restaurants and bars.We couldn't find a single bike rent - that is ridiculous.There are no wellness centers with swimming pool,saunas,e.c. around.
This was our favorite place on our trip. A nice three bedroom apt in downtown Espinho. The location about three blocks to the beach, lots of stores and restaurants close by, we walked to everything in the neighborhood, very nice area of Portugal. The apartment is quite spacious , balconies off the front room and off the kitchen ( good place to dry clothes after you use the washing machine )The host Alexandra was very nice and arranged for us to drop our luggage off early. Highly recommend this apartment.
Incredible apartment which is out of expectation. What I want to say is u don't have to worry about anything of choosing to stay here. Espinho is a small town. But 19 suits has everything u need plus the wonderful location. We killed time at Aipal bakery everyday downstairs at our breakfast and coffee break. Walking distance to most of the restaurants and beach. Very quiet and neat rooms with the great terrace. Thanks for the best service from Ricardo. Will stay here again when we visit.
Great location at the front housing towards the beach ! Wonderful view every morning when you get up and start the day !! Clean, spacy apartment (nice bathrooms). The local representative (Sonja) was very nice asking pretty much every day (by WhatsApp) if all was ok ! We highly appreciated the Guide Booklet in the apartment which provides guidance to local Restaurants, shops, breakfast cafeterias, etc. Nice boardwalk in front of the apartment for lenghty, relaxing walks.

The fact that you have a little home from home with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge dining area. We also had a lovely sea view and every day there were surfers out on the waves. Espinho is a lovely little town in which to stay, lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. A very pleasant stay. Nearly forgot, its just a short walk from the train station so really handy for trains anywhere on Portugal or 30min away from Porto.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Sr António, the owner, is very nice and a great host. He also has a very nice restaurant, walking distance from the hostel. Espinho in general is a great place and this hostel is perfect for a vacation with no cars involved. Right next to the beach, the restaurants, the life in town, myCasa is a great place to stay.
I enjoyed staying at the Esphino Surf Hotel. The breakfast was basic and not varied, but sufficient and through the kitchen you could always prepare your own food. The room was very nice and bright and had a small view of the sea. I liked that as well. The location is absolutely super and also the living room and the community kitchen are good.
Very modern and new apartment. Everything was very clean and in perfect condition. The apartment had everything we needed. We were able to check in earlier which was a great help to us. It was super close to the beach and to many restaurants. I would go back to this apartments if I return to Espinho!
The location of the apartment is in the center of town and it's easy to walk anywhere. Easy walk from the train station. 10 minute walk to the beach. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Enough items in the kitchen that you could cook if you want to. Great water pressure in the showers.
Our unit had a window that opened to the Atlantic. The place gleams it is so clean. Around the corner I can get my fill of delicious seafood.
Just three short blocks from Espinho train station and the short trip back to Porto. It makes Espinho easy!
I had a great room with a view out to the sea. lots of wardrobe and drawer space and spotlessly clean room. A twenty minute easy walk into town and the beach. The hotel restaurant is also excellent and very good value.
So welcoming host, Diogo was helpful and give us a lot of tips and advices about Espinho.

Excellent place. Very clean. The bunk beds with curtains offer privacy and the surfing classes were super good. I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants to come to Espinho and learn surfing.
The hotel was really beautiful. Great hospitality. The usage of space in the rooms was exceptional. The shower and WC were separate making it more worthy. Very friendly staff and great parking spaces.
