The suite we had was huge and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpfully. Free parking in the garage, good breakfast and dinner. Close to the beach and station to Porto. In 20 minutes you are in the center of Porto for only €4,30 pp retour ticket.

The location itself is convenient, between the busy center of Espinho and the beach, close to every corner. you just go out of the room into the corridor, open the door and there is the ocean. wide sandy beach, safe (guarded) and not crowded (September).
Refreshing water, it is not the same as in Spain or Algarve, but it allows you to cool down when the heat comes. Also a convenient place for surfers, there are even a few specialized schools.

Espinho is small & quiet. Option for beach walks or public transport into Porto. Good shops close to the beach, need to look for restaurants that can be tucked away.

Espinho is a great City but there needs to be an upgrade of abandoned properties which ruins the overall good feeling of the City. Location is great for going to Porto, Santa Maria De Feira or Carcavelos.

Great location with a wonderful beach and good views out to sea. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Good range of quality restaurants and bars. Great for walking along the promenade and / or beach morning or evening, I especially enjoyed the quiet and peace in the mornings before breakfast. If you like to hear waves on the shore you will relish this location.

I wouldn't call it a right place for tourist.The only decent thing there is a beach. However we were missing normal amenities you would expect to find on proper beach like toilets and changing cabins,e.c.
The city itself has not much to offer apart from few nice restaurants and bars.We couldn't find a single bike rent - that is ridiculous.There are no wellness centers with swimming pool,saunas,e.c. around.

It's a relatively quiet seaside town on a main railway line...
It's a relatively quiet seaside town on a main railway line so it is easy to go into Porto if you want or indeed, take the train South to perhaps Coimbra or Lisbon. The town itself has just little shops so don't expect huge supermarkets. You will have no trouble finding all that you need.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Sr António, the owner, is very nice and a great host. He also has a very nice restaurant, walking distance from the hostel. Espinho in general is a great place and this hostel is perfect for a vacation with no cars involved. Right next to the beach, the restaurants, the life in town, myCasa is a great place to stay.
The perfect location in Espinho. 1 min from the beach and train station. Lots of bars and restaurants just around the corner.
The family room was perfect for 5 people(3 children). It was a double bedroom with a private toilet, just right for a couple of nights.
An excellent small hotel/ guesthouse choice. Beautiful pool and garden areas and very comfortable rooms. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts who could not have been kinder.
