I had been driving 4 hours before I got here. The receptionist was called Sonia she was amazing . So friendly and made us feel right at home. It was lovely to be offered tea and cake also . The room and location was great aswell

We had a lovely spacious twin bedroom with a balcony but no sea view this time.
Overall can't fault this lovely hotel.

The location was good and the vibe was friendly, made friends who remained close.
They have a garden and kitchen downstairs, very hilled atmosphere. The place includes a swimming pool.
There are two homes for the same hostel. I'm talking about the one away from the reception.

What I liked most was the easy availability of good...
What I liked most was the easy availability of good restuarants and quality food.As i am now 83 years I would recommend Ericeira to middle aged or younger people.Cobblestones are a rare feauture in Ireland although they do still exist in some parts of Dublin city.

The location of the house was near good beaches and right in the centre of the old town. Plenty of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. There is very good fresh food and fish market in the old town and a range of supermarkets in the town.
A fine children's playground was near the house.
Plenty of places to visit not too far away from Ericeira and very convenient for Lisbon.
Streets are cobbled and some hilly, so good shoes/sandals required.

Ericeira is a beautiful traditional little town surrounded by an amazing selection of different types of beaches suitable for both families and keen surfers alike. It boasts plenty of places to eat and bars to hang out in after dark as well as an excellent selection of supermarkets.

I didn't find anything special about this place that I would recommend anyone visit unless you're a surfer. I would say about 3-5 sights worth seeing, but nothing that you can't see anywhere else along the coast. If you're not a surfer, maybe try somewhere else. You need a car unless you love walking hills and long streets with little to nothing on them.
Great stay! Everyone was very lovely and supportive in planning travels and stay. The manager was a reliable contact, and even reached out before my arrival. Would come back here to stay again! The house is in a condo area, with security, so I felt very safe. It was quiet, calm, clean, comfortable, bright, surf boards available, yoga mats available, lots of space, big kitchen, yard, lovely staff helping with questions. just 5 minutes to the beach! Surfing schools around hte corner. 10 min walk into Ericeira downtown. Absolutely lovely.
I usually have the privilege of staying in brand hotels, but this was not possible for my trip to Ericeira owing to the spontaneous visit. I stumbled upon the Arthouse and decided to give it a go. It was a wonderful experience, so much so that I would be happy to return in the future. It has everything one needs, is comfortable and extremely clean! The owner was also wonderful and incredibly helpful. Strongly recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for the lovely stay and experience!
